I still keep coming back to play it, it's definitely my favourite game on Kong. There's more to it than what it seems. I find that playing it with one finger is just as pointyless as any other button mashing game. Playing it with two or more fingers (thanks to multiple buttons!) really opens up its potential, as it's no more a simple game, but an excellent training tool for rhythm and consistency. As a bass player, I would give it 6 stars!
The fun thing about this game is that you can play without audio at all and perform better, as the music is totally unrelated to the keys, and if you try to follow it, you basically miss every key.
+1 star for the challenge
+1 star for the artwork
+1 star for the smooth control system
+1 star for the general humour
+1 star for Adam 2.8
+1 star for the soundtrack
that makes 6/5 stars!
Here's the deal: you have one spare star for your next game!
Just got the last, missing achievement by chance!
Apart from the ones that require defeating bosses, the remaining require:
-Full Palette: unlock all colours (find maps that unlock secret areas containing brushes)
-Diligent: max out all the stats
-Versatile: learn all spells from books (there's 15 of them, some can be bought, others are drops)
-Animal Lover: basically stroke the vulpin a lot (i got this by stroking the pet after defeating the final boss)
