"Well, this great city has truly been rebuilt. Let's go rebuild another one." "But sir, shouldn't we take the cure with us? Or a copy of the constitution for reference for the new government? Or at least someone that went to one of those 'Where you should shoot the zombies' seminars?" "Meh. We'll figure it out when we get there."
Jeanne's advice before you commit them to a quest is supposed to be a success rate (though I'm not sure what it's measuring, because it isn't always very accurate) "I hope it's not too hard for them" is on the lower side (since it tends to overestimate your chances, if it says this, expect to fail very badly), "Let the students do their best" and "Let's wait for the good news" are above this, and then "Your hopes are as high as mine," and, "I'm positively sure we can make it!" all in that order. Above that is "I'm sure it's too easy for them," which seems to be given on errand quests just about every time you send four people...
I've seen some other games use a minigame in the loading screen. Perhaps throwing something like that in (or a partial tutorial) might help kill some of that percieved loading time.
Very nice, but I think you should connect the bubbles to the people. (It's really annoying trying to pick the janitor or electrician out of a large crowd so I can promote him.)
Hmmm... It seems to be at least partially inspired by Rocket Knight Adventure... I first noticed when it looked just like stage 3, where you have to use the lava to see where the platforms are... And then it looked just like the next part where the robot fish try to kill you and you have to swim through where all the walls and things are covered in spikes... Very nice game btw. :)
It's ok. Don't try to walk around the water, just stand there walking into it getting shot by those bandits. I'm sure the water will move out of your way if you keep trying...
I wonder why the gummies keep coming back instead of just finishing running away or hiding next to the door to the next area... I can't imagine coming back so you can run away again is a very good idea...
This should include the option to switch between mouse control and keyboard control. (You can even charge us a fee for switching engine transmitions if you want) Otherwise, great game.
Thank you for the suggestion. We will try and improve loading times, but failing that, this is a good idea.
