Consider limiting ads to 5-7 per 24h span. It'll make non-paying player want to keep playing and it'll dedicate them to want to watch 5-7 ads. Otherwise, you might get a lot of rage quitters who'll rate this game 1/5. Yet 5-7 ads is enough to get some ppl to pay for the permanent ad-eraser.
Consider a tutorial to show where the parking spot is on the mini-map. Also, consider highlighting on the map where the parking spot it. Consider one or two easier levels to get ppl acclimated.
I gave this game 5/5, not because that I "Loved it" but rather it deserved it. Great idea and execution. Very steep learning curve got me to rage a bit. Oh, ty for giving us infinite lives.
Personally, I think the learning curve is too steep. I think you could've created filler levels to slowly bring us up. However, ty for not giving us limited number lives.
99% accuracy and 60 wpm = 3rd on hard. If you want this game to be helpful to kids' typing skills, then I suggest you lower the difficulty - OR - changed Hard-->Pro and Pro-->Beyond Stenographer.
Novel concept. Suggestion: Tutorial screen with an explain how to destroy bigger rocks, how to get more pinballs, etc. Think about power ups (2x strength, moves faster, invulnerability, time freeze, etc.).
I was hoping I could make the game intuitive enough to not need a tutorial... Do you think it really needs one though? I might think about power-ups/upgrades if I make a sequel... Thanks for the input :)
A quick tutorial telling players that certain tiles bounce the ball, move the ball, etc. would be helpful. It's probably in the prequel. However, some of us are playing the series for the first time.
You might have to explain in the introduction that this is a rally race (e.g. it's on a dirt road with low friction). Sometimes, you have to start turning before you're on the turn. In rare times, you have to turn the opposite direction of the road cuz the turn after is longer and/or steeper. I cannot speak for the "lag" issue cuz I'm on a quad-core. Love the game.
Solution for the energy system:
Have "warmups" before training that help players improve their game. Better the warmup score, better the energy gain (even if the best energy gain is only 3, it will keep players interested).
Reason why a solution is needed:
Practice makes perfect and energy is scarce for training. Yes, players will get better and less energy will be required to pass training (thus decreasing the demand Red Bull). However, the non-gold buyers are just as important as they'll do the majority of rating this game. Currently, the energy system is hindering players to improvement, which will only annoy players and give the game 1/5. If your game is rated under 4 stars, then Kong will probably not provide Kong achievements, and thus no one will play this game beyond the group you have now.
How is this game multiplayer if we're playing against the AI and not other people? Perhaps my player hasn't advanced well enough to get to that point. Oh, don't expect us to pay Kreds while this game is in Beta mode as I don't want my account to get erased ;)
Like the concept. Many areas of poor execution. 1) instruction manual needed (who knew that they were supposed to click the mouse to launch the tower. 2) pause and replay buttons would be appreciated. 3/5
yeah, I see what you mean, I might see if I can knock one up, just a simple, "here's the thing you kill with the thing" :)
