First and Second game are easily some of my favorites, for the jokes, the gags, and the sheer silliness of it all. The shift this game takes turning it into a tower defense was a bad choice, had it turned into a side-scrolling shooter, from its top-down originals it would have been more interesting, especially to see the upgrades that could have been bought for it. The Lightning rod is far too OP, 12 lightning rods at full upgrade with 6 laser turrets, this game became idle, with only a few touches to the keyboard for grabbing the hearts. All in all a decline from its predecessors, I hope the creator continues the series, but not as a tower defense game, returning instead to a top down shooter again, a side-scroller or possibly a rail-shooter in the style of star fox.
I think what this would need if it were to make it into a full fledgted longer game, would be a sort of choose your own adventure style of gameplay. like choosing which path, or having multiple paths depending on how you choose to handle certain situations. I also think a good idea would be the ability to handle certain spots differently, with multiple solutions. A growth system in the game in the sense of puzzle solving, the ability to remove a letter from a word so that it becomes a different word that you could use would make it all the more challenging. If it made it into a fuller fleshed out game.
This is a remake and nothing more, sad to say the Original is better than this for one single reason. I can actually SEE whats happening. Its never good when the Original is not only more functional, but graphically better.
I would love to see something implemented myself, a "replace all" function. For instance, if i have say: 75 basic heat vents, and want to replace them all with advanced heat vents and have the money to do so, I would like to be able to do so all in one click, instead of manuall roaming aorund and clicking each one. I know it won't be high on your list, but that would make this game alot more fun for those who enjoy idle styled games a little more pro-actively
love it so far, something simple that I would love to see is something similar to the choice of skin color, like being able to change the character armor color, nothing drastic maybe a few preset ones for each playable character, make the character feel more like its mine ya'know?
Cute little game, but could be so much more. My only reason for not playing more is the extremely large amount of luck that this game seems to levy against its players, the timing of battles and placement of which shops are which. Made it to the dragon and was Immediately shocked to see that even the hardest enemy faced thus far paled in comparison, which seems sadistically overdone to me, especially on a game based so heavily on your luck of the draw.
Alot of fun with a simple Idea, An ending scene would be nice, nothing major, something small even, also, turning off the auto double jump wouldn't hurt, having it statically auto double jump seemed more annoying than a mechanic of difficulty.
I like how the developer responded to someone accidentally hitting the more games button, (one complaint) but not to the large quantities of people who think the drop rate is broken. lol fun game, very sad is has issues that make playing it over long periods of time less enjoyable, I find nothing of value that is better than what I got before the first boss fight, and just blew all dna into making it and myself deal more damage. I would haev played more if I felt that I would acctually find anything useful, which I doubt considering how many people have said something other than me.
