I love the story and the narrator and I love turn based strategy games, but I really hate 'guitar hero style' game play. Without those elements where you have to type words with a time limit or press keys at the right moment, I would easily have given this 5/5, but it has to be a 3/5 for me. If a sequel is in the making, PLEASE remove those guitar hero elements.
Of course I had to try to put a square in the brown area(at the bottom) when I read Dragonoshizo's comment, and sure enough, browser freeze and flash crash happened. It really puzzles me why people release things like this? "Fun Physics"? Yeah right.. 1/5, flagged and blocked. Thank you.
I love these kind of games but I can't stand developers who are too lazy to proofread everything before they release their game. I really tried to enjoy this game but the horrible English is unbearable. "This is YOUR CASTLE ZONE, where are your allies." I also noticed that the description of the first skill of all the "heroes" are outside the text area and I really dislike when the dialogue disappear before I had the time to finish reading it. This could have been a 4/5 but I am rating it 1/5 for all the sloppy work.
I first rated this 4/5, then I read the bestiary and saw the horrible English. I can't stand when a developer is too lazy to make a simple spell check or proofread. Add to that, that there is no real ending of the game other than when you run out of fuel and collected all the trophies. 2/5
@drkleiner, I think it would mean 10,3%. Or possibly 1,417%(1,3*1,09) but I really doubt that as I do see a noticeable increase of crits witch such gear (much more than 1-2%.)

yes it does reset your skills too. It also de-equips your current gear, so a tip would be to 'junk' all the current unequipped gear in the inventory before you re-assign so it will go faster to equip your character again.

It confused me too in the beginning. A tip is to look at the equipments requirements. If it is a Strength req, you know it is for warriors and if it is Agility you know it is for rogues. Some items show requirements for both strength and Agility, which wont help you there. But don't forget that you can also click the respective button for Mage/Rogue/Warrior to make the shop only show items that can be equipped by that class.
I wouldn't spend too much time in the shops though as you constantly get better gear through the battles. Maybe around level 12-15 when you are getting ready for the endgame. And when you are there, don't forget the two secret shops (mentioned among the top comments). Good luck!
I love this concept and has been a huge fan since the first game. However, I find this one to be way too easy and much less of a challenge than the first game. Or maybe I have just become a better 'gamer' since? (I'm going to replay the first game to see). By replaying and grinding just a few times you get all full upgrades extremely fast and after that it is an easy run to the end. And about all coins disappearing after purchasing all upgrades, although it does make it much easier with less clutter on the screen, collecting those coins is 75% of the fun for me(but maybe that's just me?). Would have been nice with some more Easter eggs or something upon completion too. Still, I do love the basic concept and much appreciate a sequel so I will give it 4/5
SUGGESTION (and PLEDGE)
I just went back down to ghost world to fiddle around and noticed that upon killing spirits, I randomly got one negative key and the count went down to -17 keys before I decided to walk past the ghost girl again.. But whoops I mis clicked and accidentally touched her. I refreshed the browser in panic to save my save file but It seems to have been too late, losing my 56 levels and time spent :( MY PLEDGE: Please make it so that you need to actually CLICK on the magic/saves and ghost girls to trigger them (as it is with chests). I don't know how many times i have accidentally walked over a magic when trying to move around it. And now, a tiny little slip made me lose 5+ hours of game play

Just tried out the ghost world after the last update that stated "-Gave option to continue to play instead of joining ghost girl."
I killed the boss and walked around the ghost girl to continue. Back in the normal world I first noticed that ALL 10 of my saved souls were gone(I would think it be better if only one soul disappeared), And then I also saw my Key count being '-1'. After killing the enemies in the first room and grabbed the dropped key the count went up to 0 and I was trapped. Though I was happy to discover that upon refreshing the game I was back at my last save with all gear, magic and souls intact. PHEW
I don't understand why so many people complain about that there is no way to save. I guess they are all just repeating what other people have said BEFORE the last few updates. THERE IS A SAVE, AND IT WORKS! You need to have souls to be able to continue. You get 1 soul upon defeating the the level boss and touching the ghost girl every 4 levels. You can hold up to 10 souls(extra lives). Read through the top comments for tips on how to build your character for an easy run through the levels. 10+ lifedrain does wonders but you will likely not find it before lvl 20-30. DONT stand still and hit the enemy, move around them in circles and go for the ranged enemies first. Ignore Crit, and only add Damage upon level up (possibly some life) Hammers works great for me.
Just played episodes 1-5 and I absolutely love the series! 5/5 for the story, though -1 because the puzzles and mini games are way too easy and -1 for pretty poor English at times(missing words and bad grammar etc.). I am sad to have to give it an overall 3/5. Hope next episode is a bit more challenging and with a more polished dialogue.
The developer should consider that many people run their resolution in 1024x768 or even less. Even removing the menu and status bar wont make the game fit on my screen. I am not even going to try to play it. 2/5 because it looks like a neat game.
5/5 because I love launcher games. 5/5 for Nyan Cat. 5/5 for the music. -12/5 for the very poor English. It is called Martians, not Marsien. You send the camera TO Mars, not ON Mars. Those are just two of the many mistakes. It annoys the hell out of me when developers can't do a proper grammar/spell check before the release. Despite the poor English, it was indeed a fun little game. Rated 3/5
Great addictive little game this! Played non stop from start until I got all achievements and badges. Only one thing that annoys me, that you can't build a sixth or more floor(s). I Want to build and maximize all the amenities at the same time which leaves me with space for only 20 rooms(1.4 rooms/customer type). I understand it is a part of the challenge, but additional floors could at least have been added to the open end game. Maybe in next game should there be any?(yes please) Still, 5/5 stars from me. Great game, I love it! A question though: Is it possible to play multiple instances at the same time to level two(or more) different characters at the same time without messing up/corrupting the save files? I am level 50+ with my first character and too afraid to try in case I mess something up and I lose all progress or something. After all, it took over a week. Anyone that know, please send me a pm or normal comment here. Thanks :)
Yet another nerdook game, though it feels like I have played it gazillion times before. Would love for nerdook to create a different game for once instead of the same old same old. The games are not bad, not bad at all, but they started to get tediously repetitive during 2009 already.
After the latest update(2/27), I can now finish the game. However, 35/35 Trophies on save 1 & 2(both with warrior) and I still cant choose the Gold slot, nor get the hard badge. I even erased the data and did it all over again but that didn't help. Using Windows XP with Chrome and Flash v. 11,1,102,63. Other than that, great game!
