ok game but shouldn't add some levels as filler. level 5 is not even a puzzle you just go around in a circle for minutes until the gears align. this is offputting. i don't want to have to play that level just to get to the next one. would rather have a shorter game with all well designed levels
try to make your game better than just snake. Think about adding walls or other obstacles. its not that hard a wall is just like your snake where you hit it and die so you can reuse code for it. put in ai maybe like another snake you compete against
if you made the sprites double the size this would be a good game for preschoolers but right now they are a little small and i can see problems with kids selecting them with the tough time constraint
first. shouldn't' advertise it as a great game when you know it is just a re-skinned shootorial.
second. you could make this into a good amusing game. the apple could have a worm in it that spits seeds at you. the enemies should fire seeds instead of lasers. instead of a health bar have different animations for your carrot that make it look like it is withering the more damage you take
actually a good game concept to my surprise. After you figure out the strategy though it becomes easy too fast. powerups like blast radius or missile speed could expand the game a bit
it would be nice if the cursor changes when you are on an object you can interact with. That way I won't have to click on everything just to see if i can use it
suggestions. get a background tile that works
- your animations are reversed in many instances( bullets fly backwards tank treads move wrong direction)
-cursor is limited to aiming half the screen heght is annoying
-tank shouldn't stop fully when you turn add in velocity so you keep moving to give it more realism
-the guns can shoot you offscreen but you can't hit them it seems
