What a great little compilation :). I wasn't much of a fan of the Space Surfer but it was okay. As for the other two... Fairy Cage Match was visually stunning and fun for that very reason. You couldn't play it for hours but I played multiple matches to enjoy the lights show. I'm about to go back to play Brick Slayer again now. It's like popping bubble wrap... Great tension relief. Nice work, thanks.
Part 2: It may be that you'd want to ease players in a little better (without making it so simple and tiresome that repetition would be unappealing. Perhaps you could have an easier difficulty yet?). And your "Start+" mode is fantastic. It's graphically appealing and, for me, crazy difficult lol. Honestly, I really like the game and I hope you do get a chance to develop it further. It may just need a little tweaking of the game tempo or something to punch in a bit of an addiction factor. Great stuff, and thank you.
Part 1: This is your first flash game? I'm very impressed! :). You've obviously tried to make the game your own and it is evident the amount of work you put into it. It calls on a lot of coordination which is interesting, there is a definite skill in the identification of the enemy and the consequent rapid fire ship-cycling. I like the graphics also. Whilst I like the idea and the game overall I do find it to be very challenging. I'm not sure what it is exactly... Maybe it is because everything happens a bit fast (the speed at which everything moves) or perhaps because it throws you a little to close to the deep end (the learning curve in terms of amount of enemies seems quite steep).
A to the point but enjoyable game :). I can see this game getting a time trial badge. It's challenging but to motivate continued play it would need some sort of milestones I feel. Something to work towards. A badge would give it this... Or perhaps in later versions you could include such a feature :). In any case well done and thanks.
Well done on what appears to be your first uploaded game :). I liked the concept. Chain reactions often lead to games that feel nice. The graphics were not outstanding but weren't anywhere near the point where they made game-play suffer (though special effects would lend themselves well to the game). I also would have liked more levels, but regardless it was a decent game - I enjoyed it ^^. Thanks (and "State!")
I was told that this was your first game you've worked on. What a great start :). It's reasonably creative, and a fun little game. To develop, I think a type of 'level up' or shop component could work. Perhaps more enemies come requiring different ways of killing them. I'm sure this is just a base for even greater games in the future though, so well done! Hope to see more from you.
I'm not sure what the best setup is, I just used my own team :P. It did fine. Had to have a couple of tries at the last boss, but got there in the end. Elephant, Phoenix, Battering Ram, Gold Dragon and 2x Blue Dragon. Also thought it was a fun game :) Played for the badges but may play sequel for the enjoyment. Good luck all~
I'd like to make the comment for those trying for the "Monster Mash Challenge", that it seems you must use the "Restart" command at the end of each battle to qualify for 'in a row' wins. Returning to the menu or re-selecting players seems to set the counter back at 0. Happy gaming :)
Beautiful game and creation. The game screams creativity and imagination, and the graphics are outstanding. Such an easy 5/5. Thank you, and please make some more :)
Fun game :). Original idea, bright and friendly to appeal to my eyes and it seems to be you got the timings of the different stages perfect (in other words, the songs/stages don't stretch on forever). Having the music woven into the actual gameplay made the game flow nicely from my perspective. Badge on the second run. 5/5 :) Thanks!
I quite enjoy the game :). A simple concept executed in a graphically appealing way. If anyone is having trouble reaching the 1,000 points necessary for the badge, I recommend playing Time Trial, where points come much easier (If you can complete 3 or 4 levels you should have it)
Yus! Level 7 passed. That level is horrible. Hope this helps a little. I used (2) until it ran out, bunny hopping on the right most ledge. Shooting randomly towards the left or at a smiley if I could see one. If one came too close I used (4) or (6) to finish them off. When (2) ran out I just entered the fray using (6) and sometimes (3). A lot of this seems to be on luck. My advice is simply don't ignore Mr (2), and also, sometimes the smiley's start bouncing slightly on the spot down bottom left - take those easy kills if you see them. Best of luck all.
I enjoyed the game. Despite a lot of posters disliking it, I found it challenging, fun, and dying on a boss did not mean a huge amount of repeated content (Just the previous level, the longest for me being just over two minutes). Both badges are quite attainable (though to get 100k points in survival takes some time) The only criticism I have is that the fifth level boss was troublesome, the input timings don't seem to correlate well to what you see on screen. 5/5 game regardless, adept typists will likely enjoy it more than others.
