You said a few months ago that there will be a sequel for nighmare runner. Are you still working on it? I loved the first one, a sequel with more features would be great!

I’m loving Nightmare Runner, the art style is awesome and I love sidescrolling runners. Two suggestions though; add the ability to move back and forth and add increased movement/scroll speed. That way you keep the challenge level you’re looking for with the jumping (ala Canabalt) without it feeling like a cheap challenge due to the lacking function…

Also forgot to add, that it seems the single tentacle that comes from behind and the creature that spawns from the ground sometimes don’t take damage until after they hit you.

It requires several hits to kill both, sometimes it is better to jump…

About your suggestions, I will change speed and jumps in the sequel. Horizontal control will be harder, I like to stick to very simple controls.

I would also like to request pausing the game when it looses focus – I get out a lot when I aim at a boss and my mouse goes off the screen.

Are you sending any other stats except high score? To get good badges you need to send much more. Max distance, level, number of jumps over a monster, number of bosses killed, max multiplier – basically everything. You are anyway tracking it for achievements, send every single one of those as stats.

I keep getting a bug where I only get powerups of one type. I had 9 multipliers before I even got to a boss!

Hardmode? You only get multipliers on hardmode… Lots of points, but no bombs or shotguns…

No, I was not on hardmode. o.O I didn’t even beat the normal mode. I suppose I found an actual bug and not just getting crazy lucky!

Powerups are randomly generated, so it is possible for that to happen. Just luck.

you know your nightmare Runner is just so great but its getting boring after few play’s i suggest you to make a story mode it would be so awesome and some weapons that’s all nice game.
