So let's talk about this game okay? I'll try to sum it up quickly due to the word count restrictions.
So this game is actually really fun if you work in it. What this game needs is devotion of time, but not money if you see the people in the comments. So what it has that small pay to stop waiting element, but that is simply nothing to worry about. Basically, you look at it you have a good amount of realism to this game. The fact that you have to wait while you convoy moves from one location to another, the fact you have to wait for any damage done to you to be repaired, and the fact that you unlock newer and better equipment as the game progresses. My suggestion, try this game, what do you have to lose? Not money, it's F2P and has a low P2W element. Try this game, if it doesn't run well, quit it, if you join a server too late, try your best then do better in the next server.
THERE IS A MAJOR GLITCH IN THIS GAME! I cannot, no matter what I do, how upgraded, or downgraded, how little time I spend changing, and doing what I can, I cannot stop playing this.
+ So people can see this before they play.
@Pinky37, I love it too, I'd like to see it in different situations as genres of game play.
I'll list some that sound really cool (To me): Medieval Zombie Survival
World War II Zombie Survival,
World War I Zombie Survival,
Napoleonic Era Zombie Survival,
And basically every one of those above in real life situations.
Sorry, I'm kinda a nerd and I'd love to see some F2P browser games of those timelines.
Also, for Peter-Patrick-Percible and Phillips sake, let us freaking keep our tanks instead of selling them! Make it where we have to purchase slots yes, which will play into the combat aspect, but do not make us sell our tanks, that is the one thing that pisses me off the most in WoT and it is present in this game.
My point is simple, innovate, or you may never attract enough players for this game to be successful, people can go play WoT and experience much better ping and graphics than this.
My suggestion is you dash this tactic of queued matches and tiering and give us what me and a million other people who've played WoT have wanted from the start: TO PLAY AGAINST TANKS OUT OWN RANK!
I know it will be hard, but AI would be a good way to implement it, that way we don't have the low pen guns of tier one tanks trying to kill the derp cannons of T18, and give us like a open world game where we go into a arena, say TDM, and get to fight Player and AI alike in a arena of tank only our tier. If we want to fight a tier higher, we can, but we cannot, repeat, cannot fight tanks a lower tier than us. Have it where each map for the different tiers is different and specialized to the tanks of that tier. So if someone enjoys Tier I combat, or the map, they are inclined to go back and play it again.
Okay, so I could see from the original previews I got before clicking this game I was right, this is something a ripoff of World of Tanks that will have low FPS and bad ping. I'm not that wrong, but this game has something that WoT does not, two things to be precise: Potential, and Room for Change. I know you're trying to be a browser version of WoT, but it's not working, I respect you for trying (We need one for War Thunder and World of Warships as well) but you need to innovate. The graphical requirements for WoT aren't that high, but the skill is, and most people can go and be frustrated there, and waste their time downloading it, instead of playing this game for a few minutes and say: "Well, no need to get WoT now, I know exactly what it's like." You are acting as a DEMO for WoT, not an independant game.
Literally, this game is not really a Pay2Win. I've been playing since a little after it came out and it is very fun, it takes patience and quick thinking.
Play this game if you want to have some fun.
Many may not know so I'll spell it out for you: When you first open the game and get to look at your ship, look up near the corner of the interface, there you will see a green or purple hexagon with something that looks like a cross in it. That is your avionic system, switch these out to change the way you control your STRIKE craft, this does not exist for lines or escorts. One is referred to as CAMS (or Combat Avionics Maneuvering System) this allows you to control your ship via the mouse with right-click or the middle mouse button, very useful in combat, but hard to use if you do not have an actual mouse and are using a trackpad. The second is BAMS (or Basic Avionic Maneuvering System) that allows you to control the ship assigned key binds such as the arrow or WASD keys, this is useful for those who are looking more towards PVE or do not have a mouse, and are using a trackpad, and find it to hard to use CAMS.
Please + this comment so that other players can be enlightened by it.
So I'll try and be frank about this game and point out the most prominent features: Fun through a strategic and open world(ish) battle. (Strategic and fun) Kind of addicting if you're up to try and play a lot, you aren't going to go miles in a single session of 45 minutes. (Take time to play, not for the quickie people) Has problems but should run well on a good computer, and has potential if not for the Pay or Wait. (Great game but bad Pay2Win.)
How's that?
Ummm, about premium guns? I know they are supposed to be better, but they are WAY overpowered. It's kinda hard to play in a match where half the enemy team has premium snipers and ARs.
