Really fun game, 4.5/5. The only problems I have with it are, whenever I first start playing the mouse cursor is a little laggy, but after a few minutes of playing it goes away, and on my first try at level 2 it was extremely difficult to not only fight the cannon guy, but then a boss as well, It took me like 5 tries to beat it, which was at least 5 level ups and enough gold to upgrade my bow and my arrows. Also for some reason when there is 3 seconds left on the cooldown for my wall of fire spell, I can use it.
Fun game, but a few problems, the bosses at higher difficulties don't give higher rewards, i'm on difficulty 23, and the boss gives 600 xp, but the minions give me over 300 xp, so there's no point in killing the boss, and also if your speed is high enough and you're just running right, you'll go straight through the boss even though it's still alive
It has been a stupidly long delay with other contracts/projects, but I am continuing work on the sequel now :) Quite excited as the entire game structure is going to be quite an upgrade from the original. Thanks for the comment!
Why does the store chick only sell mana potions... I've seen her 6 times now, every single time, it's a mana potion... I'm a barbarian, I don't need mana, I need health...
How do you duel wield?
@BurnBoy250: There are sounds, just not many, when you forge a weapon and it fails and the weapon breaks, there is an OW! sound, and when you rebirth there is some sounds.
@sneakprince: You get pets sometimes when you kill a region boss.
Well yeah it still uses gas when not moving, but it wont use as much as when you are moving, and when you're in slow motion, then if time is slower than you shouldn't consume the same amount of fuel as you would at normal speed.
It's a fun game, but the difficulty in the battles scales way too fast, either make them get stronger slower, or increase the rewards you get from them. Also the exp and money upgrades are like completely useless, oh boy an extra 5 xp or money every 5 seconds, I mean all the upgrades thousands of dollars, and I need 30,000 xp until I level up again, 5 extra xxp or money every 5 seconds will not make a difference at all by the time I can afford 10,000 to buy one.
And also, if you go into a room and open up a chest, then leave the room, and then come back into the room, the chest will respawn, but not the enemies, and even though there's only like a 75% chance of the chest having something in it, you can still just enter then re enter over and over again, so that should be fixed.
I have two things to complain about...
1. Chests. 90% of the time, when I open up a chest, I get nothing... absolutely nothing. I say increase the chance of getting something in a chest, and if an enemy drops a chest after killing it, 100% of the time it should have SOMETHING in it, I mean at least a potion or something.
2. Health/Mana regen. You should recover A LITTLE BIT of health and mana over time, and in the village there should be a place, like an inn where you can rest or something to restore your hp and mana.
