I do like this game, but there are a few pretty annoying flaws. The fact that some holes have no walls to keep the ball in, but that doesn't always mean you can fall off is pretty misleading. And a few holes have small paths that are difficult to match the angle of, making you waste shots. That's pretty much it, though.
Scratch my other comment, this game is practically unplayable at late stages if they touch your tank. Instant loss is unforgivable, I don't care if the upgrades exist to stop it, because an upgrade path shouldn't be mandatory.
Serious problem when you lose a tank. The enemy just instantly wins, even though you have them on the ropes, using assault troops while they're stuck in the last trench, and your guys just give up because a mine hit the tank.
Three 'dungeons' in, and they begin stealing content. They probably did before that, but I wasn't paying that much attention, but can you blame me? You aren't even supposed to play this game. You want me to not play? Okay, I won't, since this game is literally unplayable.
'I have many things set out for you to do today' 1. Gang. He set up an appointment for me to be randomly assaulted by gang members. At least pretend you cared about this game, man.
This game doesn't deserve badges, if it even deserves a place on a flash game website. At no point are you at any sort of risk, and at no point are you punished for failure. Not any more than you're punished for simply playing the game, that is.
The upgrades are not optional, they aren't beneficial, they are the game. You cannot play this game in any way other than grinding levels just to get more upgrades to grind more levels. I have never seen something quite so pointless, and I played runescape for a little under a year.
Saw the comments about the bot outright cheating with lightning, decided to play until it happened. This is the kind of stuff that warrants a one-star.
You know that saying that the first five minutes of a book, movie, or game are the most important? So far, I've been forced into clicking specific buttons, barred from naming my first store anything worth naming, and had to hire a caterer to work as a doctor, whose experience was 'interested'. This game was obviously made to grab money, and NOTHING more.
I could seriously do with three people not coming in each day to all ask for iron bracers. Pretty bad flaw, since it eats all my iron ore, forcing me to make more advanced weapons reactively rather than preemptively(if I can even make them at all).
Look at me, I'm the player! Everything in this game is wasted, because I, the player, do not have to look at or experience it! This must be the pinnacle of game design.
I love this game, don't get me wrong, but I do have one problem with games that do this: I've moved up, but the game didn't. When you start making larger games, the game doesn't help you at all. You still have to micromanage everyone, but there are tons of people, now. It takes a lot of hard work to hire a new team, when it feels like the game could have scaled with you to do something for you.
Game is fun up until you finish researching things. I don't mean the obvious 'all the upgrades are there, so there's not much left to do', I mean 'I don't want to touch this game ever again, let alone build a tower taller than the five stories it took to complete the game.
