Bumi is Tsuchi because Bumi is the best male Earthbender in Avatar, and Tsuchi is the element Earth in Japanese. Henc the connection.

Huu is Skogur because Huu is the name of the swamp guy in Avatar and Swamp and forest are almost the same element. They are earthy but not Earth. SKogur means forest in Icelandic so I can’t call him Earth.
