I have 90 energy and the only energy I have bought was one super-strength potion as part of a quest. Once you unlock competition island you will get an extra 2 energy a month for every time that you complete it.

I think I am going to leave this event to people that care. I don't see a reason to waste thousands of energy, hundreds of resources and hours of time on the off chance I can beat 49 other people. Instead of all of these events, couldn't we get the next island unlocked instead please?

Palzman - you should have received some wreaths as a previous quest reward. Feed the otters to swap the wreaths for locomotives and you will be able to buy 3 more toddlers.

I personally just planted bunnies - over and over and over. It was a choice between lots of food and less energy or more energy and less food. I knew I could easily make food without spending energy so I went that route.

2nd totem is hidden behind the willow in the top right corner of the island. I cannot comprehend their thinking but I found maybe 1 pixel between the branches that allowed me to click on it. Try moving your mouse around where the right hand branch meets the leaves and you should eventually find it.

Palzmann: There is no quest for planting 120 seeds. There is one for spending 120 eggs or lianas. Be aware that the quest that appears complete in your list does not match the one that you completed (Or at least that was the case for me) so you need to keep track of which tasks you still need to do.

dragon - that confused me too. If you get 27 volcanic rocks then you are rewarded a bunch of bone fangs that you can use to harvest red bananas which you can in turn feed to dogs which finally give you the blueprints. You won't get enough so you have to then use the fangs you got from feeding the dogs to repeat the process and so on.

SuperDos - once I had harvested the beehives 90 times I sold them. Unless you have cleared absolutely everything on the island then space is going to be very tight. I also sold the twig benches that you need to make later on. The reputation drop was insignificant.

When you reach Nihiru Island you are going to need to make Gold Bars which need Gold Doubloons. So I would recommend first working towards getting a Lady Llama with two Tycoon Coins.

How are you supposed to clear the square T11 on the spreadsheet? The tree is blocking my way but I can't get to the tree to chop it down without clearing T11.

Yes, rubies are lost and best spent before the end. Their best use depends on the type of competition. Do you buy decor for their reputation, do you buy something that you can sell for more shells, etc. I will say though that early on you will get a quest called Fruit Trees. Money will be tight at this point but you will have enough rubies to buy the necessary trees. I recommend using the rubies you have at this point.

Competition Island is like a speed run of a new game. You start on a new island and nothing carries over. There is plenty of time to fulfill the main objective but if you care about doing well then write down each quest and its requirements as you go and it will make it quicker for you when you come back the next time because you will know what things to plant in advance or which animals to start raising.

Freesia's come from buying Orange Flowers. The ones on the first page of Decor items. It doesn't drop every time to expect to buy and sell the flowers a lot to get the drops you need.

Thanks Jappipi - I have 24 plants left. It seems from my limited experimentation that the Oysters spawn on empty spots so I wonder if I clear space then there is the more chance there is for them to appear. I have had 2 on one day but only 1 the next even after I had cleared an extra plant. I will keep clearing when I have spare energy and see what happens.

Can someone tell me how to get Oyster Mushrooms to grow in the cave? Do I have to clear out all of the plants and/or limestone? Thanks.

Is anyone else's game crashing constantly or is it just me?
