A very interesting concept that is superior than most of the puzzle games I've played, and I really hate puzzle games, but I really like this game. The only issue is the precision, as most people are also having trouble with this as well. I had a very hard time pulling blocks out, even if there was nothing blocking it; the actual problem was that a centimeter, maybe less, of the block was caught on something else. The only solution, if this were to happen in real life, is to just try to pull it out while moving it in another direction as well.
The game should just end once you do all 4 endings. After a while, you just keep getting random survivors until you can't house anymore or until you run out of food, then you just lose because of those random events.
@ras1982 Just because you are using an OS designed for PROGRAMMING and not for gaming doesn't mean you should criticize the game, let alone the developing software used to create it. That is your own damn fault that you can't play it. If you were half the genius that you could be, you'd know that Linux is not meant to play games and for entertainment.
@Cyndaquil Planes don't just implode or simultaneously combust just for going too high. It will stall when it gets to a certain altitude though. It doesn't explain why the plain should just explode in the air. Also, a plane's fuel is more efficient than a regular car. It will burn up little of it to gain much speed to fly through the air, while the aerodynamics carry the plane without wasting needed fuel. As for the plane randomly exploding when "out of fuel" as you say, there's no reason for that. If your fuel goes out, it's like a car, it just slows down because the engine cannot siphon fuel into a usable source because there is none, then the plane just drop out of the sky, as a car will come to a halt.
The f. uck? >create character, hear music from Legend of Queen Opala. Good god, I wonder if there is porn in this game. P.S. I know it's shared music, but most people know it from the original source or from TLoQO.
Of all TD games, this has to be one of the worst attempts at one. I don't even know what does what, nor am I willing to find out. Also, why not make a "cancel tower emplacement" instead of having to sell it back just to buy something else. Read the complaints @ author.
This is horrific, I'm sorry. I have no words to describe this. I found my objective, which happens to be an ear-drum killer, but there was no point in even collecting any of them because there is no ending, it just fades to black. At least give us some reward, probably some eyecandy or a song from the horrific sounds you have to get. Honestly, I'd rather listen to the monstrous music rather than collect/mute them and listen to a constant pitch. 1/5, I need to get my eardrum fixed.
@LordBucket That's the point of this game. If one unit fails to cover their side, the entire squad gets wiped out. I'm pretty sure an alien wouldn't just walk in a straight line, killing one unit in his LoS then just keep going, no, he'd go on to the next nearby unit, until there is nothing around him. Use common sense please, that's why God gave it to you so you don't keep asking stupid, retarded questions.
For a demo, I was quite amazed by how smoothly this game ran, especially on my shitty computer. Nonetheless, the demo itself could have been improved, but that's what Unity is all about, improving, adapting, and thriving as a gamer, or even a game designer and publisher. I have high hopes for Unity, and I can't wait to create my own games. Also, +1 for Unity being free.
Need to fix the AA guns... they shouldn't just shoot you if you go within their LoS, you should be on the verge of exiting the map, not just inside the cone where it stops. Also, they seem to shoot you even if the turn is over, making it impossible to get away if they start shooting.
Here's an idea... get over it. There will always be hackers and leechers on the internet, there's not much you can do about it. Even if you make a petition with 1,000 signatures, there's most likely nothing going to be done about it. If you take out 2 groups of hackers, 5 (more or less) more will just pop up.
Also, your horrific grammar and spelling makes you look unprofessional and it doesn't help the fact that it makes you look like a little kid who's mad that his game was hacked/stolen without permission.
Also 2, hacked /= decompiling, removing the copyright logo, and putting it on your website. That's an infringement in copyright. Sue them for your sake, not whine about it on Kongregate as a fake "game" submission.
Units need to respond to actions correctly, if I tell them to move, I want them ALL to move and not keep attacking the enemies... Other than that, it's a fun game.
Beat game easily. To those who whine about "sensitive jumps", go play IWTBTG, beat it on hardest difficulty w/o dying once in a single playthrough and be a pro at platformers before whining about something as simple as this. Once you get your final form, you don't need to whine about jumping since you can fly forever...
4/5, ending sucked. Good game though.
