If you play "endless" games like Tower of Greed or Diamond Hollow then there is a great chance you'll find this game interesting too. I like the hookshot idea and it's quite fun going for more achievements and the highscore. More upgrades would be nice, in some situations I wished the existing ones would last a bit longer. Music is ok, not really a catchy tune but not annoying either. Funny idea with the corpses, that's an original idea for a "personal highscore list" ;) 4Stars
For me this game isn't more than average. I made the mistake to expect a game with Qualifying, teams to choose from, maybe pitstops etc. because of the title but then I was kinda disappointed. The title is just based on the choice of vehicle, it could have been a Lamborghini etc. as well. When I put my expectations aside I see a racer that reminds me of classics I played but sadly, even then it's not perfect. While the changing scenery was good, I was happy I had the mute button at hand because the same "ExtremeG" style music over and over again... there should have been more tracks to listen to. Better concentrate on Engine or Boost cause Handling didn't help me that much - this especially was a pain in the turns where braking usually was necessary but helped other drivers to overtake me. The setup idea was better and the special car gave me a smirk but in the end, LongAnimals has better racers than this one. With all those developers this could have been a much better game...
My first thought: The developer must be a fan of the Wario videogames! Why? Cause Clarence sure looks like one of Wario's relatives and the game is just as crazy as the Nintendo series has become nowadays. I enjoyed "Clarence's Big Chance" a lot because of all the nice ideas in those big levels. Many situations reminded me of other more or less famous games I played when I was younger. I seriously expected the game to end when you leave the house but I was wrong. It's great how much you can influence the ending even after finishing this part of the game...
One of the best 2D platformers I played so far, would be fun to play it on a handheld too. Great job and all 5 stars from me!
Nice idea creating a puzzle game with RPG style. There are so many ways to die, it really makes you think over each turn twice or more but it's not unfair.
Except for the taverns and the Fairy shop the other places just unlock something which could be done better. Here it would have been interesting if you got a quest like "Kill the Spider Queen", "Finish this dungeon" or "Get a necklace" and recieve an item or gold when you return to the place.
However as the main focus is the puzzle, it's no big deal. Still a fun game you won't forget even when you finished the story part
Usually it's unfair to compare a new developer's game to similar exisiting ones... But even when I do it, I still think you did a nice job with this pixel game. Your "Weapon maker" is the best feature, Kong already has pixel shooter games where you buy premade weapons but finally someone gives players the possibility to customize. 4 stars for this beta and maybe you'll get the fifth star from me for the final version ;)
The idea behind this game was probably better than the final game itself. A 61 year old woman comes into the clinic with "1 day history of fever" Is there any way she may survive this...? *irony* Gameplay is repetitive and random, at least the developer knows that it looks kinda wierd when there's no difference between a 71 year old and a 50 years younger person. MedSchool classes provide some interesting information although it's not really more motivating than reading a book about it. Conclusion: A game that was probably published too soon. Games like "Cell Craft" prove how cool an education game may look like just from the beginning. Maybe the next game really improves in some points so good luck with the sequel
First we launched rockets, then hedgehogs now a "Pichin". ;) I never saw a game so simple and yet with so many features like achievements, stats and possibilites in evolution. The game isn't without mistakes, I have to agree with incrediboy that the sometimes vanishing platforms may spoil a good planning but it's still the best "launcher" game I played so far.
Reincarnation games are cool. They may be easier than other point & click adventures but it's still nice to take the role of Riley and it doesn't get boring. May this nice series continue, never mind if it's bigger or mini games. This part is the best one yet. Thumbs up!
This game feels as if someone mixed "The Little Prince" with nice puzzles in point&click style... You know what? It really works and is fun to play. More of those games :)
Really cool game, I especially loved the cameo swords like lightsaber and keyblade.
With the right tactics, this game is just fair. All 5 stars for this and quite a surprise for me considering this is a Hack&Slay game ;)
That's some kind of university project... It's proof enough that you don't need incredible graphic power and high quality soundtracks to make a good game. It already was fun to play in the "rushed" version and the recent update shows: It keeps getting better and challenging. Nice work and I'll keep an eye on it.
I was sceptical but... with a little training you can get used to moving and swinging. This game's really well-thought-out and has this cool style you just gotta love in Nitrome games. 5/5 for sure and badge-worthy.
Btw. when you press up and left (or right) at the same time while throwing stars against a wall you can get up pretty fast. This helped me in some situations.
I should have known that the flash version of a game such as "Prince of Persia" can't be as cool as the series. This game feels like one of those simple handygames - quickly programmed and motivates for about half an hour in case you haven't already stopped playing. No story, repetitive gameplay kill most of the fun. Even the typical Prince of Persia elements like traps and acrobatic jumps can't save this game from being below average. I'll give it a 2/5 and hope that the real console version won't be as uninspired as this promo flash game. The Prince of Persia series deserves better!
If the word "crazy" didn't exist yet, you'd have to invent it for "Sydney Shark". Very funny game, too bad it doesn't take long to see everything. Nevertheless, it's nice to play during breaks
RoS is a nice MMO game when you give it a chance. It feels like a mix of Metroid and Castlevania with the usual MMO quests like gathering things and killing monsters. Of course, it would be too much to say that RoS is equal to them but you can see the effort put into it. Good atmosphere and I like the Co-op Trailblazing. It sometimes takes a while to load but I don't think it's that much of a big deal. The only thing that's not so cool about this game is the KredsSystem. It's a bit disappointing that you have to pay for Nidarian Guard and other features and can't have a higher lvl cap then but RoS still provides enough fun even without this. I'll certainly follow this game's development and hope that there'll be increased lvl caps and more places to explore in the future. So far, I like what I see. Fav'd
"Mushroom madness 2" is really an eye-opener. Getting all the upgrades and achievements is really fun although in later levels of survival and animal rush the game gets pretty hectic. Nevertheless, 5/5.
"Mechanical Commando" has already been a bomb. The second part even beats that with more missions and new features, action fans shouldn't miss this game. A real favorite of mine! 5/5
If ya like to fight with style, then you'll like the Rage games. This one is the best of them, nice animations for a stickfigure game and it's not difficult to get into. Too bad it's not longer and has no story but if ya play through all the games, you can live without it in the end ;)
Average game. Good thing is that you shouldn't have problems to get into it but still get a challenge in later levels. What I didn't like is the fact that the game's over too soon and it doesn't have extras that make it better than other "filler" games. "Been there, seen that, done that." This really circumscribes colorfill.
I thought this game was just about strategy. I was wrong, it's about speed as well cause the faster you act in the beginning the easier it will get. Surprisingly fun game, it's nice to see that the computer doesn't always act the same way in a level and that you can create your own genomes. Fav'd :)
