if this becomes a fully fledged rpg game, you could give a story for everyone to read while playing, then having them get the item they believe would solve the problem and continue the story and then maybe have different items make the story go different ways, 5/5 for the very original game idea! :D
pretty cool game, tho you should add a simple + button by every stat you can upgrade, so you can just click that when youve bought 20+ Upgrades, or maybe have the Upgrades stacked so you can click an Upgrade stack and spam the Upgrade button, either way, its kind of tiring to click every single Upgrade and then click the "Upgrade" button every time.
the tutorial left me a bit clueless, its missing pictures so i dont have to figure out how what looks when i actually starts playing (i still dont know what those purple things does...) try adding pictures of the resources, the different gems and the towers, then add text to those pictures telling what they do, i havent ever coded a game myself, so i dont know how hard it is, but for the average player, its MUCH easier matching description to a picture, than matching description to another description of how it looks, other than that, its a decent TD/puzzle game ^^ fix up a few things and ill change from 4/5 to 5/5 for this :D
dont you all just hate when some new place opens, it becomes pretty popular and you wanna go there, and just when the guy in front of you buys his tickets and its your turn, the price increases by 10 dollars? - lol, just found it hillarious that i increased the entry price just between 2 visitors entered :P anyways, great casual game, played a game like this long ago on my gameboy, tho i hated it cus i always forgot to upgrade my fences.. :( 5/5 for this :D
Greo0 and all others that do not know the cordinate-systen, when you pick up the beacon that tells you the cordinates for the secret Nexus it gives you some numbers that you have to navigate empty space with, the first number is X - also called your position on the horisontal axis - the second number is Y - your position on the vertical axis - tho this game's Y-axis seems to be turned around (the true cordinates would be **SPOILER!!!** X: -390 Y: -6000 -- i cant remember the real cordinates), anyways, if your cordinates are lets say X: -500 Y: -6000 then you have to go more to the right, if your cordinates are like X: -390 Y: -7500, then you need to go up.. if a picture would help, i would say this one: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3218/2732579697_2032c323eb_o.png -- the Red Dot's cordinates are X: 3 Y: 2 that should hopefully help all of you who cant find the Nexus
demo or not, i feel you messed it up when you get to the Sapphire part, before that, i could get 3 Rubies by getting a chain long enough, now i can only get one at a time cus it switches over to Sapphire instead, which ive only gotten 1/chain so far... else than that, quite relaxing game, not all my taste, but its still not all that boring, 4/5 - post the full version and ill give it 5/5 straight away
geez... been playing this for an hour now, ive gone from knowing the first 8 digits up to knowing the first 36 by heart and my brain is breaking down from learning all those new numbers, what is my math teacher gonna say when he asks if anyone knows Pi and i start from instinct by this game and say the first 200 or 300 digits??
using Long Prism + mass Light Machine results in 360+ bots per minute... i didnt get further than 360 before my enemy dies, maybe just cus im slow, but 360+ fully upgrade Long Prism bots is a pretty effective way to win :P
"With every faction of robots wanting to kill you, how long will you last?" with the in-effeciency of the enemy, i would say untill December 21st, 2012, unless my computer shuts off in the meantime... im counting 5 fully upgrade Tank Factories, 5 fully upgraded Spider Factories, 2 Bubble Domes, 1 Radio Factory and 1 Dark Hut, againts 1 Spider, 1 Bubble Dome, 1 Standing Dome, 1 Pyramid, 1 Great Pyramid and 1 Dark Hut... the AI should make more effecient building placement :/ other than that 4/5 for a fun little game with pretty good graphics and decent gameplay
Angel Companion to Hero: Angel: "Ok, this is only the 23rd time you fight Melissa and you got her down to low health and you got enough Combos on her to kill her with Slash, lets pray she doesn't use Shockwave! You can do this!" Melissa: "Shockwave BIATCH!" Hero: "FFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--" - other than Melissa being damn strong, even compared to the "Invincible Veras", its a pretty good game here, but it kills a bit of the fun to have to do Melissa 20+ times untill your luck kicks in... could you lower the chances of her using Shockwave? or atleast lower its Critical Chance... 4/5 otherwise ^^
pretty.. empty ending... you fall into infinity, land on a tower, jump inside it and fall into infinity again just this time youre inside a tower... i was confused enough on how to get to that point, but did you have to twist my mind even more?
i think that General should go back to the basics of "2 legs = good, 3+ legs (and optionally wings) = bad" cus evey time he says "The reinforcements has arrived!" alot of bugs spawn...
the badges are simple to understand and (execpt the Wisdom badge) easy to get, Guardian Badge = not letting a single enemy through, Wisdom badge = placing towers in the right places, im guessing this is kind of fixed, so you have to fill ALL the "right" squares - in the developers eyes - and NOT a single one outside that, that does not count Golden Gems tho, they are free to place anywhere you want and then Wealth Badge = finish with alot of Gold, i dont know if this amount increases as you get to higher levels, but at the lower levels ive gotten them by having 80+ gold, but some of them didnt count because i didnt get the Wisdom badge along with it...
note to self... do not have both 800 Long Sword and Heavy shield men training when the enemy is attacking with overwhelming forces.... they will just kill them 1 at a time with you not being able to do ANYTHING about it...
flesh out this game a bit more and do something about the harsh defeat of restarting the whole thing when loosing, getting thrown back to the menu and having to go through it again just to loose at the same round isnt what keeps a game alive..
