Unbelievable. Near the end of level 5, I got stuck in a glitch and I couldn't move. Next time, please make a suicide button so I don't have to restart the level.
Alright, after giving this game another try I have a few tips. (1) Those skill points are extremely important to use and the first ones you must use have to be spent on XP upgrades first and then cash upgrades. The reason for this is so you can get more skill points quickly and then you can also buy better weapons more quickly. Fast Reload and Health Regen are important too. (2) Buy weapons in this order: Revolver, MP5, M16, Spitfire, Minigun.
(3) Remember that this is 2D, so a lot of jumping is required to stay alive. When a wave started, I did an initial charge to the left side, gathered them behind me and then jumped on the car. Shoot at the ground zombies first as birds get caught in the crossfire. As long as you have health regen, you should be fine. (4) Last but not least, the car is the most important thing in the game. Repair whenever you have an opportunity. You can also shoot and reload while repairing.
As soon as I figured out the trick to getting the badge, I felt so stupid. If it's not obvious, quickly examine the top and bottom to see where they don't match up.
Never mind, it was a bit out of the way to find it. Please make the mute button more obvious next time instead of making the whole options menu an icon.
The replay value might be a little higher if there were hard and impossible badges for things such as "last 4 minutes is time attack" or "complete to story mode on expert".
Tips for getting hard badge:
-Max out your upgrades
-Throw your plane as straight up as possible without throwing it backwards
-Press SPACE until you have 1 1/2 bars of fuel left
-Steady the plane with the left arrow key or "A" and DO NOT increase velocity. Remember that it takes up velocity as well.
-If you need the plane to go faster, make it stall
-When your plane is facing upwards, keep it there. When it stalls, press "p" and swipe your keyboard so it automatically lifts off upwards AND gains velocity when you unpause
-Stalling is extremely important to getting as many stars as possible because it conserves your fuel
-Don't give up because collecting those stars is pure luck. You can only make your plane stay up there as long as possible. I read the comments and collected as many tips as possible and combined them all here along with a few of my own.

Finally did it. 194.3 seconds. Those 2 big upgrades (phoenix and poseidon) were so instrumental even though I had all of them. Since gathering geese is no object at the point where you're going for the three minutes, you can just rest when you get into the water. Also, try to stretch your first two lives as far as you can, probably to at the very least 140 seconds because you're going to die a lot when you get to 165.
