I realized I unfairly rated this game harshly the first time, as many of the issues can be attributed to the new chat features. Rating increased to a 4.
Just like in Zelda 2, when you level up your Life or Magic power, you make those bars more efficient, not longer.
I would love to give this game a 5/5, but there are some major frame rate issues. Sometimes the game is too fast, sometimes it is completely unresponsive. Not to mention epileptic seizures on the title screen.
Even with the walkthrough it was extremely difficult. The section of the table you combine the pieces of paper is actually under the right-hand corner of the periodic table. You assemble the paper in the Zoomed-IN mode.
It's okay, but the fact that the spacebar is used to both rotate AND move tiles doesn't help. Might want to make it so they have to connect from the left to right instead of any two on the same side. Keyboard controls aren't ideal for this type of game either.
Normally I'd rate this at least a 2/5, but it's just a copy of the same tutorial that I've been using to help me learn how to make TD games. He also has the creeps walking backwards, and they don't even turn, which was an easy part of the tutorial. Heh, I also doubt his name is Walter Reid.
Once a solution is found, it should disable being able to rotate the pieces any further. Also, if you could differentiate between the power sources and the node intersections, it would be nice.
It would be nice if the Antibodies didn't automatically activate, but only activated if you swapped another germ to make a trio with it. Also, there should be something for 5 in a row and for 2 intersecting rows of three. Maybe an Antibody that clears germs in different directions?
