Suggestion: About the Human Auto Catch, you could make it a challenge item like 'Gates of Hell' that would open below one of these panicked burn heads swallowing them straight to hell. It could unlock a building w Gatekeeper thats upgradeable and has either a chance to catch or a number it can catch at once (per pop up of a building).
