Pleaaaaase, stop!!! ;_; After I finished the game and tried the infinite mode, I've been bouncing, getting the pack the bats, bouncing, exploding, getting pack of bats and so on, accelerating forever. I'm t 9xxxxxx+ distance as I write this. Why isn't there a way to make it stop and keep the current score?
Level 180+, it's taking like 2/3 days and I'm at level 185. I see the ugprades lose their purpose on the final stages, and the cost for them is insane. This need some serious/solid upgrades.
I liked the game. The music surprised me, it's entertaining, specially during the battle phases. Even though the intro comic-style is an overused resource for this kind of games, I loved how you somewhat animated them. The game is not grindy but yes, it's short (I don't complain about this one), the rewards are balanced (You can almost always buy something after a run), the sprites are well done, the gameplay is smooth and... the overall game has a lot of potencial for future releases or a sequel if possible. This is the kind of game I love to see in Kongregate. 5/5.
Wave 30 tip: It's true, you don't need to be fully upgraded for this. Instead, you can max damage + spread. After the first boss, three bosses will appear. Top: Axe thrower - Middle: Shield boss - Bottom: AoE boss. You don't need to empty your rounds. You can simply shoot and hide. The initial spread of bullets is better than keep shooting. Tunnel vision your bunker, don't look at the bosses since their position is fixed, so you can keep avoding their attacks. The killing order is: top, bottom, middle. With the top boss defeated, the battle becomes REALLY easy. When adds spawn, just thrown a grenade or use the EM thingy.
I only had maxed my grenades. If you see the battle gets easier at some points, just wait for the cooldowns to pop up before advancing to the next wave within the wave.
I really love the series, I bought this chapter on their website after I played 1 and 2 here. I just bought chapter 4 and it's really incredible. Too bad it's too short, but the story telling is excellent. The music: awesome! I can't wait for the season 2 chapters!
It's a nice game, I noticed there're later levels easier than some previous ones, but I like the overall idea. It makes you use the brain, and that's a different approach compared to games nowdays. There're levels that you don't even have a clue, but lateral thinking is your best friend.
This surely looks like a smartphone game. There's a lot of grinding and if you want to clear the content at a regular rate, you must pay for it. This is not the kind of game I expect in Kongregate. The game is not worth a penny if I have to pay for everything.
Okay, in the 8th mission, when you're disguised as a guard and you reach the room full of scientist, if you're not running, you can actually PUSH the guard out of your line of sight allowing you to open the look without being noticed. As they don't move, they can be there forever...
Okay, I gave it a try, I can say that the regeneration stat is pretty OP. If you only focus on high armor and regen, you're unkilleable since you can constantly spam your special attack mutiplying your effective level by 2 so you can compensate your lack of attack and critical stat. You get infinite MP with ONLY a regen of 30/40 and my equipment is above 520 of regen rate. It becomes boring on advanced dungeons... Also, since you only receive +5 per level up and there're weapons/armor bonuses above 2000, it becomes pretty useless on high-end.
This game seriously needs an ending and a save button. -.-
Didn't this game have the Berzerker Studios's Frantic Frigates song...? I think it had it. It's a great game, though, I had lots of fun. It's a bit frustrating when you lose all your bounty, your fleet is totally destroyed and you have to spend time trading from city to city in order to recover some coins SOOO you can start fixing again your ships. Pray that you don't get a random encounter in the meantime because no money and ships destroyed means "downgrade" to your ships, SOOOO!!! you gotta trade MORE stuff from city to city to get money and recover your upgrades, fix your ships and sail normally again...
The first one is much better, it had more dinamism, it was less tedious than this one when it comes to get either upgrades or weapons. It looks also more simplified compared (Again) to the previous game. I enjoyed it, come on, it's a launching stuff game! but it's a 2/5.
