So why does Robot lose ALL it's power-ups every time?
And why do all these monsters & mekazoids try to stop Robot when they know they can only delay Robot?
for Ndstuctible's mini-guide: I go for the SMG over the Tec-9. +1 Str and faster firing with ammo still costing 1 per each.
BTW, anyone else not like the paying for ammo? Nearly every other game of this style the ammo's free.
great game. ...or it would be if it wasn't glitchy as hell. sometimes "save & quit" doesn't work. sometimes you don't get credit for achievements you should have. sometimes trying to leave a room simply kills you or the tube is blocked by nothing so your only option is save and quit. sometimes your fired hamsters don't move at all. sometimes the game freaks out saying "played 0 secs! 400 achievements! trillions of achievements earned globally!"
THIS GAME NEEDS TO BE REMOVED UNTIL IT IS FIXED!
and for anyone who doesn't know the unmentioned PRESS SPACEBAR TO FIRE PASTRIES!!
This game needs some things. Like some kind of upgrade progress & shield strength indicators. Also a mini-map would be nice, one which shows bubbles visited & cleared. Does it need auto-fire? Not really, but maybe something to help decrease lag on lower-end computers when you spam bullets.
The limits on units are stupidly low, both the individual & total. Not to mention that they're all underpowered. Especially the archers (who have a range of NOTHING), the summon (takes forever to summon & what damage?), and the basic foot soldiers. In part 4 the basic foot soldier is just a walking sack of meat that delays the enemies half a second, if even that. By that point their only purpose is to dig holes, assuming you can manage to keep them alive, what with the movement speed, strength, & health of the enemies. Then there's the cost of everything, except for aforementioned basic foot soldiers, being too high, especially the building upgrades. Plus you don't get nearly enough resources after battle considering how much everything costs. Then there's the catapult. My real complaint there is that there is no upgrade for reload/fire speed and the final upgrade feels like it should be more powerful. Overall, this game has been done before, and way better. 2/5
Playing as a turtle with a top hat in a Tetris themed level. Awesome.
Also, the vertical moving platforms that are switch activated are a bit buggy. If you turn them back off then jump on them you might get stuck doing tiny jumps on them unable to actually jump. Otherwise, truly fantastic game.
