Cool Tron-a-like, but you missed a major feature: there's no acceleration button. That is about the only thing that gives you any sort of strategy or tactics to use against your opponent. Otherwise, well done graphics.
I actually liked it but it has some flaws. First and foremost, the ducks should not just disappear, ninja style. Very disappointing to be tracking your duck, cracking off a round, and seeing the message "Duck escaped" when the thing was right next to you. You're already limited by your shotgun's range, so why make them arbitrarily vanish? In other words, having them escape once they got a certain distance away would be a better way of setting a time limit. The other problem I encountered was no visible way of telling if I had an item and whether it was working. One last thing, DO NOT put crosshairs into this game! That would defeat the purpose...duck hunting isn't about aiming, it's about instinct and pointing in the right direction. Crosshairs are for the weak. Thanks for bringing Duck Hunt up to more modern standards.
Talk about a game that I wanted to see more of. A little confusing at first, but that just made the puzzle solving more interesting. Once you start figuring out how the puzzles work, it becomes more satisfying. That opening sequence in the woods is priceless....scary and frantic! It does get a bit repetitive w/ the skeletons, but really fun to play. Looking forward to part 2.
Great dogfight game! The controls are smooth and the graphics are top notch. It really gives you a feeling that you're flying. The combat gets a little hectic in multiplayer mode and FPS suffers sometimes, but all in all, a lot of fun. I dislike the pay options, but the assortment of unlockables are nice. The only real problems I ran into were the eventual browser crash and of course the FPS hit when there were too many other players.
Heck of a shooter. The random enemy positions keeps you on your toes. Very nice feel to it. About the only complaint is that on one particular mission, the contrast between the enemy and background made it difficult to see, but, hey that's camouflage for ya.
Great game! I'd love to see a little more depth to it. Maybe some way of doing missions, stats, and even a bit more RPG elements, but the gameplay is addictive as is! The UI could be a little better: hard to tell how much $$$ you have, what type of ship you are in, etc. One thing I disliked was the enemy spawns. One minute you're fighting a sloop, the next minute 3 man'o wars....where were they 30 seconds ago? hiding behind a wave? In any event, I'll be playing this one again and again. With a little more work this could be like the original (top down) GTA w/ Pirates.
Not exactly intuitive but oddly amusing. I think the achievements add to the value. Funny thing is the game crashed, and now I can't seem to get it to start anymore.
