You can manually set your own status. You could set it to automatic status, (If you don't type something after a period of time, you are considered afk) stuff like that.
Also I don't know if I mentioned this but I think you could make open-discussion rooms (although this would be more useful if more people were on) where someone can make their own room and people can join it. You could switch between rooms by maybe having a scroll on the bottom, buttons, or some other method. These rooms could easily be monitored. There could be a limit on the number of extra rooms at a time.
These would be used if people wanted to talk about something specific, or collaborating or whatever.

You can add this line of code directly after the "siteLock._x = 0" line to prevent the clicking of the play button through siteLock:
unloadMovie(_root.playbtn);
Replace "playbtn" with the instance name of your play button. You can also use that to unload any other movieclips that might interrupt with the siteLock.
Hey UG, I think when you upload your next update, you should use a better icon. GDR in a white background is a bit boring. Not to be negitive or anything.

The AS3 equivilent to this code should be the same, except it uses "this.root.loaderInfo.url" instead of "_root._url"
