Friendly Aliens should not always aim for resources on the map to prevent the player from collecting them. There should be a bonus for the number of friendly Aliens remaining at the end.
P2W is ok to a point. But a F2P player must be able to match a P2W player to a point that an extremely active F2P player is indistinguishable from a moderately active P2W player. This should apply to as many points of the game as possible (eg. early game, mid-game, late-game). The point of P2W should be strictly time saving. And by time-saving, I don't mean a F2P player advances at 1/10th the rate of a P2W player (assuming the P2W player is not paying massive amounts of money). The F2P player should be able to compete with a P2W player that starts around the same time.
Hi Dailen, thanks for playing Astro Lords. We recently checked the stats on players who purchase deuterium vs. players who don't, and of the top 25 players currently in the game, less than half had ever purchased deuterium. We're confident that this shows that players can achieve a great deal of success in the game without needing to purchase deuterium, and won't fall behind those who do.
I did 2 playthroughs, one on normal settings then a 2nd using tax evasion. The tax evasion setting allowed me to get under 200 kills and under 1100 weeks victory time.
Tips:
- Keep the fear down while saving up money then raise it to purchase legislations - then decrease fear again to continue gaining money.
- Always have operations going, especially money generating ones when not adjusting fear.
- Do low casualty operations to minimize kills.
- After unlocking achievements you can use different play modes, these can be used to try to lower victory time and kills.
- On tax evasion setting, use operations as primary income and keep one +fear operation going to keep fear up.
Later in the game, Irium becomes useless and XP mostly useless. It'd be nice if Irium could be used for other things like rushing the training of basic skills.
This game is unplayable for me by the 5th level. It lags so much that the only way I can even spawn guys is by pressing the hotkeys. I can't press anything on the screen so there's no way to select a different path. (played on extreme)
I also found it annoying when my own missiles launched while trying to intercept other missiles, which would often either completely waste them or worse, hit me.
It'd be nice if attacks coming from further away weren't so difficult to intercept. Maybe if you could intercept just by clicking on its path, it'd be better. Also, it'd be cool if you kept some of your upgrades permanently so there's more replayability.
All the font is now in bold pink and I can't read anything. Is this due to an update you're doing? I'm at 727 septillion souls (visible in high scores)
@Dragonkilla8 I'm at over 120 quintillion souls and it's still working for me. Check again, might be working for you now. If not, PM me and you can use my save (or PM the dev, Hoistmaster might help you recover).
The current later stages of the game could really use some buffs on the lower spawns. Currently my titan spawn generates 25x as much as behemoth, which generates 51x cerberus, cerb gens 21x golem and golen gens 148x as much as wurm. That's a difference of 4 million times between lowest and highest.
It's been 2 weeks of checking back on this a couple times a day and I still haven't hit the 300 of everything goal I'm aiming for! My early mistake was not resetting faster. I'm really enjoying the dynamics of this game so far. :)
I'm currently up to 20k active Angel Investors with 11k ready to be added on reset.
It would be nice to know the exact time it takes for each product to be generated so I can more accurately determine which item to upgrade next. It is easier to determine on the later items but for the items where it only says "Almost done!", it is difficult to estimate the exact time.
The naming scheme is awesome btw! I think the developer is a Canadian Winnipeg Jets fan.
