I rather liked it. I *hate*, however, how sometimes ghosts seem to go ethereal. 15 towers, all in perfect range and reload condition, decide to ignore a single lonely half-dead ghost, which causes a whole perfect level to go to waste. For that, and for the frustration it brings, you get 4/5
Bug. Got stuck in a tree. When I reloaded, the guy who gives the "go south and kill all monsters" quest in the second village acts as if I haven't finished the quest, even though all monsters are dead...
I disagree. I am level 67, I haven't arrived at the second boss yet, and I haven't played a single map twice *on the same mode* to gain more exp. 67 levels only by playing each map once on each mode. And even if skills *do* make it easier, replaying the same map on the same mode loses effectiveness quickly. On the 3rd or 4th replay you're making only a little extra xp. Of course, if you *want* to grind, feel free to do it. But you don't *have* to.
Since you only gain exp if you play better than before, I think of it not so much as 'grinding' as 'getting better'. By the way, it does get easier after some time. Every time a new mode opens up, go back and replay the old maps on the new mode for the exp. Don't try to beat the whole game playing only on the normal mode, cause that's insane hard. The same map on different modes may require *completely* differente strategies and skill builds, that's why I don't think of playing the same map as grinding. Cause it changes a lot from mode to mode.
