@Quayle - That's a rebirth, not a World Ascension. Two different terms. World Ascension is unlocked after you complete tutorial #12 and it resets many systems are progressions. You can find the whole list inside that tab. For reference, I only reset my world 5 times within ~4,5 month of playtime (mostly leaving the game in the background, like 90% of the time). I could've done more but it didn't seem very efficient to me.
@archerbob - Potions you make and upgrades are multiplied by the number directly below "HELP" button. As for Mana Seed, it also took me ages to get my first 10 too. You can speed up the process by allocating more water (obviously) or increasing catalyst's level. First few levels make a massive difference, each one increased essence convertion speed (quickly diminishes though, hence first few levels) and byproduct chance.
@N1349 - Usually browser game saves are stored in cookies. If by any chance you deleted them or your browser/system did then you lose everything. If you didn't make any backup like developer incentivizes (although it's broken, no 100 epic coins for that) then i don't know any way to restore your progress. As for kreds, ask Kong support or try out "Restore Purchase" in Store -> Epic Coin tab. Not sure how the latter works though.
@Wariat117 - If by "passive mode" you mean background characters who are in the area that's currently being swarmed, their progress absolutely counts. It's just that area clear is multiplied by their background efficiency, which is 20% / 40% / 55% depending on rebirth title level. Extra swarm score by killing a mutant is also multiplied by it. Some thing are not reduced by background efficiency - monster capturing and quest rewards. Both are worthwhile to remember and the latter is used in a trick that's especially useful in the first few world ascensions. It's lengthy to explain it though.
@daexion - It's not that hard to manually capture enemies, early on you move slow and so do enemies. Turning off nitro (if you had it on) helps. Besides you quickly unlock automatic capture feature when you kill an enemy (Normal Spider pet QoL).
@Wariat117 - Every time your character levels up you gain guild EXP. The higher level, the more you gain. You can rapidly gain guild level by constantly rebirthing as soon as it's available. Just be sure to finish some easy quests to gain some rebirth points to increase the speed you level up.
@archerbob - Equipment stats only apply to your character if they're equipped. Equipment mastery (which i assume you're talking about) is treated like an extra stat on top of what you already get from an item. With that in mind, every item with mastery on it will give you those extra stats, even if the item is exactly the same (so 2x Dull Swords give you 30 ATK combined from Warrior's mastery etc.). Equipment mastery is shared between characters, so if you equip that Dull Sword on your Wizard she'll also get 15 ATK from Warrior's mastery.
@matthewgraves001 - Epic coins gained by completing a mission are a one-time reward. After World Ascension all previously cleared missions can be completed again for Map Milestoner progress, but you'll not receive any coins from them.
@NinjaCat7 - Full guide will have to wait but i can help you a little now. You've already world ascended once so that should makes things a bit easier. The key is to push guild level and area mission milestones as much as you can. First 6 world ascension points should go to Area Booster which drastically speeds up your area/town progress + makes swarms easy to complete. In guild upgrades first 10 points always go to Training (guild exp gain). Each time your character levels up you receive guild exp. Frequent rebirth 1 allows for rapid guild level gain. Every 5th guild level you get something that'll greatly boost your progress. Guild level #35 Slime Bank and #55 Arcane Researcher should be the most important ones.
@matthewgraves001 - Anvils are acquired from mid-late dungeons and solo boss battles. There are 4 different kinds: #1 lowers ability requirement, #2 lowers hero level requirement, #3 increases proficiency gain by #%, #4 increases equipment effect by #%. Each item has 4 for all 4 anvils, slots are unlocked at item level 60, 80, 100 and 120. These slots aren't unlocked permanently and if you rebirth 3 which resets that character's equipment proficiency you'll lose ability to use anvil on them. You'll have to relevel them again.

2/3 || Besides that, i don't believe this incremental game is as bad as people claim. I've had "pleasure" to grind badges for far worse ones multiple years back and they've had better reviews/score. It has fairly clear progression and there's something to work towards compared to just "get a higher number" many idles do. It has a fairly unique feel to it in form of basically setting up a bots farming while you're doing something else in the background. The game runs normally as long as you don't switch browser tabs OR have another program/game running in fullscreen mode (borderless is fine). I simply have 2 browser windows open at the same time.
1/3 || I've been playing for 3 months now. I've captured flametiger recently, run nitro permanently, idle majority of the time and i'm about to ascend my world for the 4th time now. Early on it's hard to call this game an idle, it's closer to management game. There's plenty of systems and micro-managing everything to quickly progress might be tiring. This issue slowly goes away as you unlock more pets and buy QoL upgrades in Epic store... and the latter is my main gripe. Blocking these upgrades behind paywall or multiple days in real life should never be a thing. Some of them are absolutely vital to even use certain systems. It may not be as troublesome if you have only few hours each day though, where you'll likely have a surplus of epic coins.
@kellcey - second swarm badge for 100 vanquishes works, next ones should as well. It's just first one that's bugged out. @DeathKeeper - Items with enchants persist through world ascension. Thief's equipment mastery adds an extra slot or two to the item. Once you have that you can simply craft a low lvl scroll and enchant the item. But overall i wouldn't bother much with it except strong early game items. You'll get all equipment back soon anyway.
@matthewgraves001 Void Egg should be a byproduct of rank 5 catalyst. I'm not there yet so i can't confirm. Black Pearl can drop from bosses (rare drop) and mimics (common drop) from dungeons. Easy way to get them is using Pilfer (thief's skill) on a mimic with Material Multiplier Mist potion. You can only steal from an enemy once from my observation.

With enough dedication, you can actually kill professor at stage 6. You need to push him out of the base by repeatedly bumping into him. Once he's outside, jump over him and run further until the gates close - allowing you to shoot him down. You don't gain anything from it outside of your satifaction tho.
I definitely liked the "quick debate" approach, more engaging and makes you care about preparation beforehand. However, two complaints: #1 timer starts running when the speech bubble starts (kinda w/e) #2 ~0.5-1 sec Grace period is needed. ATM if clock hits 0:00, you failed. It causes crappy situations where you choose the correct answer at 0:01 (turned 0:00 for split second), and lose life with conclusion it wasn't correct answer. It happened to me twice during the game.
