After playing the game for like 20 minutes I am somehow completely stuck and unable to progress in any way. I have the first two "Reactor" doors unlocked and only one newspaper. I can go nowhere else I have not been in order to do anything else. The puzzle is endless...
Great design, no doubt, but the difficulty could be a little higher per the later levels (a single tank with any amount of help wins levels 7-9 easy) and it could be a little longer.
Looking forward to a sequel? Maybe WWI or something else you could expand on the game with.
5/5
Jesus. No matter what, if you die on Level 20 (which is not hard to accomplish) then it's completely impossible to complete the game. When you have upwards of 7-8 pods coming at you at the exact same time, there is no saving yourself. Fine up until the later levels, when it just becomes impossible.
After finally mastering ColourPod, I thought it couldn't get any harder. I was sadly mistaken. This is an incredible sequel to an already great game. Keep up the good work! 5/5
Yea, I hate to say it, but it's a pretty bad game. It's a cool idea, but the controls are funky, it's pretty hard to eat any of the other microbes, and it's just not fun.
I totally blow at puzzle games, and this only took like maybe 5-6 minutes, so quit bitching about the time waste. Sure, it wasn't badge-worthy, but at least it doesn't take long. Easy 15.
I agree with Commando. The mounted riders ARE easy (it's called block while they run through you, then turn around and hit them for hella damage when they run away, then rinse and repeat) and the demon lands are moderate (they're the exact same recipe of enemies, just take more hits). I hated Achilles, but this game is actually pretty nifty. It is NOT Achilles, so quit saying it is.
(This all coming from one of the most harsh critics Kong has to offer.)
It often times forces my "player character" to be thrown to the bottom of the playing screen unable to move any direction but left or right. This glitch is very hard to correct when it occurs, and has now cost me 4 games. Quite ridiculous.
No, Wolf is wrong. The reference is Christopher Guest's film "Spinal Tap" in which a fictional rock band, Spinal Tap, refurbishes their amps because they want them to be louder. The dial's on the amp, instead of going up to 10, go up to 11. To make them louder. Even though adding numbers to the dial won't make it any louder.
Watch the movie. It's incredible.
25 hours, 36 minutes later...
Dude! You just completed the Legendary Protector achievement in Protector and won the Legendary Protector badge and 30 points!
-_- What a huge waste of my time.
I WASTED 3 hours of my life playing this game until the end. There is no need to point out the multitude of obvious flaws. 3 wasted hours should be enough. Whoever made this game should hang themselves.
