I went back to stage 1, and now I have to kill 10 of each monster once again to progress. I was on stage 323. But it's not like it really matters. I've already wasted too much time on this game.
Also, many details in the total character stats are incorrect. And I miss the old music, too. Perhaps you can return the old music just to the combat area? Maybe if enough people want it back as well, after asking them.
To answer your question about the issues with Unity currently; Every time I open any window, there's around a 5 second loading time. Loading up the game takes a lot longer as well. One major issue is that I can't quickly click upgrades. So, when resetting my Ascension upgrades and allocating them into Woodcutting, for example, for my daily gathering of wood, it takes way too long. A message shows up for clicking more than 1 time per second it seems, and it tells me to slow down. So, it takes forever to do what I used to do every day. Actually, the issue might be the fact that if you select 'Max', it tries to upgrade it to level 100, rather than the max that you are able to upgrade them to. But even so, the slowdown from quickly clicking upgrades needs to be gone, because I need to evenly distribute between the 2 woodcutting upgrades (for example). If you can fix those issues, it might be playable for me.
Hey Again, I've posted a lot on Discord's announcements of what is coming. Today you'll be able to downgrade upgrades using the x10,x100,xMAX modes as well (and several other QoL improvements). As for windows taking a while, it's not an IOU thing, it's a browser thing with WebGL having memory limits. We're still trying to work around it as much as we can and optimize things but it's unfortunately not entirely in our control. They simply are killing off flash before improving the forced technology, and it has been incredibly costly and frustrating to us. -Ray
Depends on whether google made the same breaking change for flash as Firefox did, plugins, etc. This is why we unfortunately were stuck with migrating to Unity or letting the game die. Already most folks couldn't access the flash game on AG/FB, yet everyone can on WebGL. If you have issues/concerns with Unity that are already not reported or being dealt with, please voice them to the team. -Ray
Tried to switch to Flash, but it just stays as a black screen. Hm... this might be it for me for this game. I've played since it came out, but this will probably be a dealbreaker.
Sorry Dark, I know the initial release was rough. Flash is already a dying breed, with many folks who can't access it on other sites. This was a necessary evil that, trust me, I would not have done if it wasn't needed. There's a lot of ugliness to webGL that we absolutely despise, like you guys, like the window loading aspects, which are out of our control because of the way browsers handle things unfortunately. We're trying to improve things as much as we can, and there's a lot of updates to clean things up moving forward. Is there a specific issue you have with Unity that wasn't present in flash that can be looked after in our upcoming updates? -Ray
Hi - If you're having issues with performance (really shouldn't unless Hardware accel is off), then you can lower FPS and change quality to terrible in the options, which has helped most folks on systems that were unable to run the game well. -Ray
Yeah, for now I am dealing with saving the progress :/ then I might be able to do high score. But I am afraid that for this to work I will have to make my own server and save al data there :/
