Great game, much improved by the last few patches/changes. One problem though: how are we supposed to kill german tanks? purchased tanks never seem to fire, bazooka shots go through enemy tanks and don't damage them. mines maybe?
It's an interesting take on the idea of a defense game. I like that you can skip a tower level by saving enough to upgrade twice; the second one starts even if the first upgrade hasn't finished.
how about giving people a large chance to win a card if they don't have many? Something like 50% chance to get a card if you have less than 10. That would help people get started.
As far as I can tell no one knows for sure if int helps you learn skills faster, or if higher int just keeps you in battles longer because your other stats are lower. Gray, the key to beating army regiments is to have 10+ men and arm as many of them with rocket launchers as possible. Ideally boost their strength so they can also wear armor and carry a rifle.
it's a fun game, but the hard badge is right on the edge of being impossible. I'd have preferred to either be able to pick up extra lives while dead or be able to control where I'm firing somehow.
I've read those "do not read this" comments months ago and nothing happened to me. just ignore them. This is a great game, though I think the new classes are a little weak outside survival mode.
It's a well made game. The changing background when you change guitars was a nice touch. It looks like the "easy" songs are harder than the previous game's easy songs, but the last few are about as hard as the last songs from the previous game.
xcat: speed does many things. High speed increases your dodge rate and accuracy, lets you do critical hits more often, increasing the damage of all abilities, lets you go earlier than the enemies in the turn, and determines whether you or your enemies occasionally get to act twice in a row. speed is what makes assassins so powerful.
This is a very fun game. Good voice acting, interesting story, challenging combat. My only complaint is the classes seem a little unbalanced. Assassin>Gunslinger>Guardian>Destroyer and it's not obvious until you reach the optional bosses.
you can pause the game by holding the cursor over the center of the cannon you're controlling. In the pause menu is the option to change the game's volume. Other than that little difficulty, the game is pretty fun, and very innovative.
As long as you have enough buildings built (6+ I think is the minimum) when the bosses show up, the last badge is doable. However, it's very dull to have to go through the campaign 3 times, given how long it is to start with. Basically there's nothing new after you've seen the first boss on level 6/33.
This game is interesting, but very tough. As far as I can tell, you're supposed to use all the airstrikes simultaneously together with regular shots to kill a blimp; anything less doesn't do it. For the boss, you have to spam turrets so it will run out of ammunition. On the other hand, I've gotten enough points to get 5 stars on every map so far, so it's definately possible.
