How to beat: 1) Dead hydra heads: I suggest using the normal sword against them because its element is light (the hydra weakness) and the unleash blinds (very useful for making it miss). With natz try to cast revive on the characters this will give you an auto life for 3~4 turns and help survive the instant kill attack. Each instant that you will survive will give the attacked char his special attack, matts attack dish out an amazing 10k damage per hit and if combined with natz special he can go up to 16K+damage per hit!!(That can easily crush more than half of the hydras hp) Finaly try to lower both heads hp at the same time and kill them both in the same turn if possible or in the next few because otherwise one will ressuract the other. + My comments if helpful!
Ok so LongGun's comment is really helfull read it. But there are some things that i think could be added/ removed. First the air support/secret weapon/cat tamer&warrior are a MUST, so are the counters of both natz and matt. Next to make the counters better get astrology(by using lucky star) and swordsman(by using regular attacks with matt). But I really think you dont need the mana drain. It's useless. The potions are a better option, besides you can use this for somthing much more helpfull. I suggest getting bunny!, bunny!!(you can get them by using slime bunny summon) it help you get some crushial hp at later stages. Counter with natz get it by using pulsar. And get HealingX1 no need for the seconed. Also try getting the surviver and the angel they can aid against the final bosses.

I waited ultra mega super epic long time to get this thing. And I can say it is soooooo worth it!!
OMFG!!! EPIC MODE IS FREAKING EPIC!!! If the damn dragon with his impossible 2 instant kills wasnt worse enough, the tank summoned 2 nukes vs me, I think well I think I'll have time to blow them up than they both go "0" and the next turn one of them was enough to instant both my players. This badge totally deserves 1000 points or so. Becuase that how hard this badge is!
