Unless you either stop him from healing with Break on the next turn, he full heals...but, he DOES make mistakes and he could just as easily attack in low health. Once his focus dips below 1000, he can't heal anymore and you can kill him...if you don't die before then. Probably best to set Veradux on defensive AI mode, just to be safe.
