pro tip: in unlimited mode, make a 3 turned 90 degrees right so it resembles a w with buzzsaws. Then add a bunch of launchers, sentries and 3 lasers on each side. After the flow of all 3 valves are high, your score will be literally unstoppable (I'm at about 460k and score isn't slowing down).
@cow_commando: because this game, like any other game that uses Z and X for primary actions, want to inspire a retro feel to the player since the NES controller's jump button was A and not "up" on the control pad.
Also, beat the boss with 13 upgrades :3
aand after refreshing the page. I should have specified how I can't complete the game: In Tasselfoot's video walkthrough, it takes 25 bumps before breaking the roof. In my case, the roof never EVER breaks.
Game itself is good, but for the love of god if you make a sequel or any other game with moving spikes, PLEASE program/animate it better! 9/10 of the times I died were because of the sticky keys bug (press a key without holding and game thinks it is being held). Imagine how insane I'm becoming with this bug and the last lvl of chaptre 5.
Is there a bug concerning the destroying of helicopters? The only time I've been able to make one crash into a sign is with SanderH's tip (drive under one when helicopter is about to arrive to make it crash into the sign directly). As for luring them into signs, I've never been able to and from what I see helies aren't even close to hitting them even if my side mirror is hitting a side wall.
@ iplayguitar In Demon's Souls, the boss at the end of the tutorial isn't supposed to be beaten. And if you do beat him, you are brought in front of the final boss that will one-shot you.
Found a bug...Achievements are erased at the beginning of a new game. For instance, I got quickster on my first playthrough, then started a 2nd one to get more achievements, but I didnt finish it in 5 minutes so I lost it.
For your own sanity, do NOT, i repeat, do NOT take the ghost character. Its weird shape "compared to the other characters" will make you fail your jumps half of the time, if not more often.
game-breaking bug: get the phoenix-fury perk (anyway, the perk that makes you revive once per battle) and BAM! you will never die (why? when you "rez" you end up with NaN health points. NaN being obviously not a numerical value, all damage you get is substracted to nothing, so you cant die.)
gave up on trying to enjoy this when I noticed how 95% of all my key strockes were stuck (if i press the left arrow the shark will continue going to the left until i press that arrow again, this hapenning with EVERY control) fix that and ill play again.
I got a sticky keys AND MOUSE issue with this game only, even if i have a brand new computer (asus win 7) which is not crap. The fact that this issue is still possible 3 yearss after release however, is crap.
wth I discovered a green clue saying that the murderer was an expert in lockpicking, while earlier i found a yellow one saying the spouce was an expert in lockpicking, so i accused him (it was a man) and got it wrong. 1/5.
