I think it's due to the fact that twilight stones are so hard to get, that it's impractical to start a new team without having to grind out the raid bosses for a few weeks.
The lost island enemies are essentially AI versions of real teams, and most people have Ekek and Berserker for example, so you're gonna see a lot of that stuff.
honestly it's best to just spend here and there while not incurring a deficit. So, options are open to you, even more so if you're the kind of guy who can wait a few days saving up shards to get a demon.
@arckael. lost island scales with your level and not that of your demons so if your demons are incapable of beating round 4, they're likely underpowered and need good equipment, level boosting, and evolution.
I honestly believe that the rare and epic packs should just cost gold with rare at 1k gold and epic at 10k gold. It would be a much more fair system. A friend of mine saved up 40k gold and didn't get a single epic or legendary which is utter BS. There needs to be a definite constant in terms of progression for gold only players, because the only thing determining progress there is RNG which just relies on luck.
@JimandAlex You're not getting the point. In the old tyrant (the good one), there were a multitude of common cards with many different effects attached to them. You could build a legitimate strategy with common cards in the old tyrant if you build your deck correctly and played your cards right. Here, they're utterly useless except in the first 2 or 3 days of play. What of the base epic and legendary cards, then? you certainly didn't comment on that. I'll take it as you agreeing as quaded base legendary cards are easily trumped by new epic cards that haven't even been fused.
there's less common cards than any other level of rarity and they have the least fusions. Shouldn't they have more fusions as they're more than 90% of what people get from packs? Also, why are the newer cards so OP. They utterly invalidate base cards, leaving them as mere fusion material rather than legitimate competitive cards. It's not worth quading base cards anymore....:(
the decision was foolish. the vast majority of the cards in game are lost to the sands as they're only obtainable by special boxes which no one seems to really invest into by your model. All the effort spent on art for nothing. It is wasteful in more ways than one.
it's a p2w. The more money you spend on war bonds, the better cards you have and you could easily quad cards by buying those specials packages and a those salvage box packs. The last tyrant had a complete donate freedom, because most packs cost gold, not war bonds. here, everything besides basic packs cost war bonds.
Well, drop rates and such may change as we check the data and whatnot :)
