If the ball hits the paddle while it's moving left, the ball moves several pixels to the left to the end of the paddle which looks like a glitch. It's too hard to move the paddle accurately to make accurate shots; in my opinion the paddle moves too fast. Without powerups, or some kind of high score table, there's no reason to come back to the game again.
It never actually shows you the last turn, when it says "Level clear" you can still see aliens on the board which is weird. It seems too hard to win easily if you ask me, and the teleport is too random.
There's one level I can't get past but I can't tell you which one it is because nowhere does it say what level you're up to. The game also doesn't fit in the space kongregate has allocated for it - I get scrollbars and I can't see the whole gameboard at once.
Fair point. I am working on a new version that accounts for these issues and am doing it as more than a "Hm.... Let's see what I can do in a 2 hour version of the Ludum Dare"
It should really start at Level 1, Level 0 is just TOO slow. RESTAR is missing a T. How about adding something new so that it's not like the other thousands of snake games out there in the world.
It's okay, but when you die it says "Diamonds collected", but to me they look more like coins. How much did it cost you to advertise your site all over the place in these mines? ;-)
Even though the badges are broken this is FREAKEN AWESOME, TaroNuke I love you and I don't mean that figuratively, I mean I literally would have your babies
It doesn't keep a record of how many stars I got on each level - when I go back to the main menu, they all show as no stars. And it is not clear how to get 3 stars - is the aim to use fewer pieces, or get the ball there quicker? Still, it's got potential.
There's a bug with the level where three descending platforms are touching each other. I jumped on the centre one, but then magically moved off to the right of the right-hand one and therefore died by falling off the bottom.
