For the people who are stuck on the Diagnosis codes part, you only need the one bit of information on the second page. The rest can be found in the evidence locker among the things you found at Dr. Kane's office
@Megazeroxtreme I am starting to think it is both, because the main character of that party is 'Bartholo', and the three characters that most embody their counterparts (Bartz, Lena, Galuf) have their descriptions in the encyclopedia almost matching the actual characters. Ex: In V, Galuf is an old man who's past is a mystery until half way through the game, where you find out that he is a king. Bernard in this game is described as 'An old man who doesn't appear to fit in with the saviours at all... He is a potent spellcaster, but is rather mysterious...'
Did anyone else catch the Final Fantasy V reference? Those four adventurers you fight in Tainted Grotto are based off of Bartz, Lena, Ferris, and Galuf.
I didn't want to give this game a bad review. I really didn't, considering the success of it's other installments. I actually enjoy the series, but this game, sorry to say it, is lacking the same magic to it. First, the kitten launcher has a short fire range, and if your kitten drops in a ditch or something of the like, the game is unforgiving unless you decide to waste a life. Second, the controls fight with you the whole time. Jumping doesn't get an immediate reaction. It's like the game is lagging, which will kill you quickly if you rely on fast reflexes. Finally, the hit box is way to large. Jumping over enemies on small platforms are one thing, but getting killed by one even though it looks like you will make it with room to spare really makes a game more infuriating than challenging. I am sorry, but I will have to give this game a 2/5
Hey, I think this is supposed to be why the end didn't occur in 2012. Cause it was supposed to end in December, and (spoiler alert) since the game ends in winter 2013, it's a year after the end was supposed to happen, meaning that the calamity was avoided.
Enough about the ceiling zombies! They add challenge to an otherwise challenge-less game. Plus, most hordes usually drop a lot of ammunition and weapons.
Actually kasual, when your knife doesn't work after you throw it, it's not a bug. What, you really think you can just summon your knife like a jedi summons his blade? You have to pull out a new one first! Just press 1 and you'll see what I mean!
To beat Second Boss: After he leaves off screen, stay in one place, most preferably the northern or southernmost points. Whenever the screen shakes, move opposite where you chose and wait. Instead of the boar bucking, he will throw a spear. All you have to do is pick up the spear and throw it at him. It will stun him for a few seconds. I recommend having a poisoned weapon when you take him on, because the extra damage will affect him even when he is off screen. Watch out, though. Whenever he recovers, the boar will slam the ground. If you don't at that time, he will hurt you wherever you are in the area.
