Really enjoying this game so far.
One suggestion though, If a certain number of trimps die on one enemy, the enemy HP should reset. It will add a new layer of progression as you would need to upgrade your troops to the point where you can take out the enemy before losing say 4-5 trimps.
Needs to be a way to lower Drama. Drama Bombs happen way too much.
Maybe as the last option as Leader which would need 10 of everything and this would essentially act as prestige.
The more prestige you have, the more your Drama is lowered
I've not gone past sector 3 yet but it would be nice to see certain ships with weaknesses to certain weapons.
For example, Last level of each sector there should be a boss which has shields which can be removed easily with Laser weapons, or Heavy Armour which can be destroyed easily with Rockets or mines. etc
Rather than starting with a full grid available, I think you should start with a small size grid like a 3x3.
Also would be good if you could buy additional grids. Just above where the grid is there would be a tab saying "Reactor 1" "Reactor 2" etc.
Needs and Achievement system that rewards permanent Xpps/cps increase.
Nothing too gamebreaking, possibly something like "upgrade click button one time". and the 3rd achievement in the sequence would reward you with 1 or 2% increase in xpps or cps which the player can pick from :)
Yeah I've noticed a bunch of roguelikes lately! After this Android port with some small changes I'm going to put all my development time into the sequel though and focus on making that awesome. That will be on mobile for sure, flash, and who knows maybe steam or other platforms if all goes well.
