Love the game! Could we get the ability to customize our hotkeys for battle? Roughly 10% of humanity is left-handed, and when you play a game for hours, hotkeys that were set up for right-handed people become really uncomfortable.
We will update it after GiTD finishes, we are not allowed to fix or update anything during that. We tried to at least make it so you can get all 3 endings and several options, so it has some things missing but hopefully not that many :)
I hate the 'game in ten days' challenge. All it does is encourage devs to throw something together real quick, and you just end up with a half-assed game that isn't even worth clicking on.
I like the feel of the game, but there are too many problems with it.
1. I am able to sail off screen, and be shot by pirates that I can't even see.
2. This doesn't really matter too much, because there is no penalty at all for dying. Where's the challenge?
3. Not everyone in the world is right handed. Arrows for control would be great.
4. What is the point of pressing 'E' when on a waypoint? The player is going for waypoints. Why press a button to confirm that you want to enter it?
Do you mean you want more originality? Do you want to be able to finish the game? (That's a little bit contradictious with this type of game :)). So, this is an Alpha and we add soon more features. I hope you will have a better experience :)
Character froze after hitting a fire mushroom on level 5. Everything else works, but character is unresponsive. Pretty cool game, but I hate playing a game for an hour or so just to discover a game breaking bug. I won't be playing again unless this bug is fixed.
Thanks for the feedback. Working to fix as many of the problems as possible. Made the mistake of only testing on our computers with chrome browser and it appears there are all sorts of problems with other setups. I'm going to be adding a save feature with the next update every time you descend stairs as a sort of quick and dirty fix in case it crashes or you want to pick up play another day. I'll just have it wipe the save if you actually legitimately die.
I don't understand these micro-transaction developers. Why would I pay money to play a game that's on a site that's supposed to be ALL FREE games? I would I pay for in game currencies, when I can go to the store and BUY a brand new game for $5 that gives me full access, that has no bugs, and that has no grammatical errors? Who actually plays these moneygrab 'games'???
Yeeeeaahhh. I have a couple of Anno games for my PC that I bought brand new from the dollar store. Guess how much I paid for them? $1.00 each, for brand new games, with no bugs... This game is all about micro-transactions, and I'm sure that it has bugs and is imbalanced because I am on a brand new laptop right now, and the game is freezing my browser before I can even get started. Guess the rating I gave you...
I don't understand why this game has such a low rating when it has so much going for it. It isn't pay-to-win. It isn't pay-to-play. There are no bugs. There are no glitches. Controls are smooth. It has intelligent A.I.. And, it becomes challenging. This is a very solid game, with a lot of replay value. The game actually feels professionally made. Very good work!
By level 91, the game becomes so difficult that it is virtually impossible to progress without spending real money. Now I remember why I quit playing this 'game' and rated it one star. Congratulations. You inspired me to go and buy a real game for $10 from the store.
I maxed out two upgrades, 'increase manual working speed' and 'increase initial work multiplier value'. Now, when I use the manual worker, I get so much lag the game is almost unplayable.
Pretty cool game, but instructions aren't in game. Space is to shoot, but which key is for bombs? I didn't even know I had bombs until after my first time playing. Also, why say 'Game Over', if we get infinite continues? Either make the player start over from the beginning, like a good game does, or just don't have any lives at all. Still, pretty sweet game. 5/5
