the guy who said you will never have 1k of anything per tick is wrong. Its only been like 3 days having this up while watching TV. And i make 1k of everything and 1k gems. While the cost does get really high (590m for next gem upgrade), i expect to be able to get that in a day or 2. I will make 27m per day on idle alone. and finding 1 (1024) ruby makes about 1.5m. As for the game, hardly an idle game at all. im not sure why i have played this long, but i have, and for that i give you 3/5.
While the game was a bit short and a bit easy, I loved it. The music is great, the pace was fun. I wish there were some more upgrades, larger campaigns, a way to buy more units, someone else said skill trees. But I suppose that is what sequels are for. Great job here. 5/5
It would appear that after you save the princess, there is no longer a continue option when you return. This kind of sucks, i was going for all the heros items, went to return to town once, got nothing but a black screen, so i refreshed and can't continue. other than that, good game.
the game is pretty fun. My first 5 games died within the first 3 days, finding that gear makes all the difference. And since gear is a bit random, i found myself wishing i had
1) Inventory storage so that i may change gear to fit the situation
2) Vendors to sell the items i have found and don't want, and use that currency to purchase new gear.
3) Others have suggested, and while not needed, a map would be nice
4) A bit more explanation as to what the stats do. While i get the idea that bigger number is better, i have no idea if def blocks dmg at a 1:1 ratio, or how often im going to proc a crit, or what exactly luck does.
These things aside, i am enjoying the game at day 10. Keep up the good work.
i have an issue where i can shoot at the zombies in the head or chest with multiple clips of ammo, and they don't die, or spew blood or anything. Yet they still eat my face just fine
One (easy i think) thing i think you should add, would be a lock on items in inventory. This way you can have multiple gear sets without fear of selling by accident. Also, maybe add something to save gear loadouts. Also, maybe add set items with bonus for x/y pieces.
Just noticed, i put on the "two strap" armor, and the red bar changed to reflect what was in the shop (+10HP, -10 crit), but the numberical display of the character show as +10 HP -10 spd. And when adding say +20 spd pot helm, the speed stat still displays -10. Again, im sure this isn't function, just display.
also, with a monster computer, and monster internet...this still takes FOREVER to load...im still waiting in fact, and its been at least 5 minutes, might want to look into that
woot, finally beat nightmare, seems im the first. I had to simply run through the stronghold cause there the large amount of 3* was just too much. VERY hard endgame, at least for warrior, no idea for the others
My suggestions
1)Add another stat for hit chance. Dex (from the tooltip) effects my chance to be hit, which i assume works in reverse for the enemy. But despite having 46 dex more than my enemy i seem to hit far less than 90%. I think by splitting them into 2 stats you can fix the confusion.
2)Add HP Regen stat. (i know there is ring for diamonds than increases)Though currently i have only played 2 of the classes, warrior is the only class i have gone past level 10 with, and my current issue (with both characters) is that i often have to get into a fight, retreat after killing 1 or 2 of the mobs and sit and wait for my HP to regen. So far it seems the HP only regens at 6 per second. with my 700 HP it takes around 100 seconds of just waiting.
Thought you should know, i was playing a sorc while on the 4th (i believe) level on normal while defending the camp, my camp got attacked and destroyed, as soon as the HP reached 0, the screen went black and music stopped. Not sure if it was a glitch or what, just wanted to throw it out there
Yea that has already been fixed. You check out more recent updates of the project here: http://www.indiedb.com/members/alteredplanets
