I was going to joke about a game called color-uid being tough for colour-blind people, but then I realized that was dumb. Maybe another colour-blind approach could be to differentiate symbols (rather than all "x"s), although maybe there's a more elegant solution that requires less change for the dev.
I love your idle games, Baldurans. I love the challenge of visually optimizing my idle production. Blueprint mode would indeed be massively helpful, like it would've been in Reactor idle as well. Maybe there can be some element of optional clicking to increase certain aspects of production?
I enjoyed it. The skill respec is a bit painful. Why not just turn skills on and off with a click, or a toggle? Respec is useful if you're charging a price, but otherwise it's just painful to have to reselect all the skills.
I like that you're trying a different gameplay mechanic, but it sort of seems half-baked. Being only able to shoot in one direction is an annoyance that never really bears any fruit in terms of clever game design that incorporates the mechanic. It makes you problem-solve to get around it, but not in way that feels rewarding.
And I'd echo others' criticism of the zoom/pan "feature". It's annoying to at times be able to see the whole room and others not to. Especially with the way features like pillars are being depicted, you can't always see an enemy that might be right below you, in your path of travel.
It's like some of these weapons exist only to frustrate you in Gun Games. The GL06 is terrible. The spray weapons are weak and suicidal. Wish they didn't exist.
The amount it can chug when there are a lot of characters on the screen at once during battle is kind of sad for a game made in 2016, but great game overall. I really enjoy it.
Tool tips are sticking sometimes if right click happens sometimes. Not always sure of the cause, but tool tips are definitely sticking and don't go away unless you refresh the page.
I like everything about the game so far (even over the last two in the series) but why oh why is a 2D sidescroller in 2016 so laggy? There's no reason a computer that can play Far Cry should be slow for this game.
Still waiting for an option to turn clicking the stone off. Clicking the stone very quickly becomes a useless option at best and at worst, it's a 60-second production penalty.
That's considered middle aged in bear years though
