Would also be nice to have a way to manage how many weapons your army bring. Right now I have a country that is much weaker than me, so I don't need the full strength of my army. I'd like to save weapons, since I have plenty of human bodies to throw at them.
Something I think would be interesting is if you turned this into a race to see who could post the fastest time to get every 6- or 7-letter word. Let people add rules, like "skip qyyy", and such, and see how fast people can get there in order to reset and do it all over again.
The assistants all have fancy names, but given the way they work, they should really just be called "1 monkey with a typewriter" "10 monkeys with typewriters" "30 monkeys with typewriters"
Started thinking about how this game is a great example of a totalitarian, fascist government. Especially because the people will breed endlessly, and there's no control on how much food, since essentially it's just given to them. It would be interesting to see if you could enact "policies" like abortion, contraception, etc for population control, or something like free market concepts to allow for the regulation of the food market, as well as allowing the citizens themselves to be responsible for how the farm industry grows in response to the population. Maybe it's beyond the scope of this game, but it could be interesting for the next one...
Great game, I love how it's very different and not linear (in terms of progress, your population goes up and down). I think the worker distribution might make more sense if each station was a share of 100%, rather than have the workers trickle down. Makes it hard to manage your life expectancy if each time your population outpaces food production, the workers all stop making medicine, for example.
It doesn't seem like the timer is running when I don't have this in the active tab, so they only harvest or produce items when I'm actually in the screen. Not sure if this is a bug for a feature, but I'm assuming since it's an *idle* game, this was unintentional. (I'm on Chrome)
It'd be nice if the objects were easier to click. And it'd be nice if you didn't have to get so much of the object onto the area outside of the circle; at a certain point, it just becomes a technicality. It doesn't really seem to be a facet of the gameplay either, since it doesn't factor into which pieces you take or how you choose them.
Gotta love that, really, this game is enslaving people of other races. Success is measured by how many slaves you have in your mine, it even shows you by race how many you have of each!
Another bug I noticed; when mass upgrading, while I'm entering the level I want to upgrade things to, my cash will tick down a bit whne I enter a figure. Not sure why.
And a couple quibbles (I love the game, it's very unique in my opinion). Harvesting efficiently requires that I click the harvest button, but then use a keyboard shortcut to sell all the ore. It's nice when you don't have to keep switching your hand position in order to do something that is so commonplace in this game. It'd be nice if there was both a button and a shortcut to harvest and sell. Or maybe one button for both.
I think there are a couple issues where some variables aren't cleared, from screen to screen. A couple examples; if you're building, and then click delete mode, you can do both, occasionally. I just had another instance where I'm in combat, trying to pick a target, and it's telling me I don't have the resources to upgrade that building. I'm guessing it's either some sort of layering issue, or you're not clearing some things form screen to screen, or it's because I'm switching between tabs.
Tis witchcraft!
