I agree with Harperson. Incremental games these days are much more than a one-dimensional trip to who knows where. And a lot of them are not developed by big studios. You have a combination of active and passive income, and then you reward resets.
It doesn't have to look glitzy, but this is far below what most of us have come to expect from a released game on Kong, especially because there isn't a compelling mechanic to the game either.
It's great that you've only had 3-4 hours of work into it, but that's not enough to make it a good game. If it's a proof of concept, what's the concept? I'm not seeing it.
Okay, I've tried shortening my original reply 14 times...here's the TL;DR: Most incremental games suck, only a handful are original. Majority are just AdCap reskinned. It's not great now, but it has potential. I'm working on it. Thank you for your feedback, and thanks for playing!
If we have "ALL" checked, can you make sure it stays checked, at least per session? It's an annoying detail that was in the last game, and remains in this one. I can't imagine a reason why you'd want it to be that way.
I hate these games, and I hate that I'm also a whore for badges.
But seriously, air+car = plane? Wood+boat=ship? These combinations are idiotic. Some of them are fun to discover.
I like that there are more layers to this game that a lot of idle RPGs. I'm really enjoying the clean UI, too, but accessing different menus could use some refining. The bank is not a button, but investments/shops/party etc are, which seems strange. There should also be some upgrades that affect the commission from the bank at some point (or make the honour/gold less interchangeable, or do away with one of them entirely).
Hi, thank you for your feedback! We verified it and there isn't a bug, you probably missed to do something. If you're stuck try to follow the walkthrough (the link is in the game description). If you can't go through this part send us a PM! :)
(It was called Majestic, and it was a victim of unfortunate timing) But given the way that mainstream games like NBA 2K integrate the people you follow on social media in order to make the game more realistic, I think we're long due for another game as ambitious as Majestic was.
Again, I love the facet of the game that makes you go outside of your current browser tab/window to find details. There was a game many years ago that aimed to "break the fourth wall" that wasn't successful, but I'd love to see your studio do something like that. In that one, the game would call you and send faxes as part of the story. It's cool enough finding clues in real life, like in Paris; it'd be chilling to get a text message from something associated with Lya. I hope you guys and gals are able to make a game like this even bigger and better!
It's cool, but there should be a start-up timer for some of these levels, like the one where you have to navigate the crusher block. Since it's so dependent on timing.
If you had the option to upgrade different aspects of your hero, like attack speed and critical rate, that'd be nice. And the resource collection rates plateau very quickly, since it's limited by the amount of gold you can get.
ROKO0, I've said it before, but I love these games. I think the shock/actuator addition over the first DCR you did was a great add! Now we can make cars that can scale those crazy inclines at the end of levels. I'd love to see some sort of level challenges where we have to design to a budget, and then try to scale an incline, or make a certain jump, etc. I'd love to see how people approach the incline issue, rather than with just brute strength (friction, power). Keep up the good work.
