1) i like the fighter upgrades most, i really like the added ability to dodge dangerous missiles, it HELPs :) plus, the active shield is simply useful, you don't need much more! 2) It's best to discover the bubbles in spiral around the first bubble, this way you meet the opponents from the easiest to hardest, fluently. The only exception are the bosses - if you discover some early, return and try another bubble. 3) Once you maxed out your tank, don't collect more experience, you dont' need it. Just fly to next bubble and the big boss appears. He has three launchers on top and two on the bottom. Concentrate your fire on on launcher at a time and always try to dodge the red missiles - once you destroy all the launchers, the boss is dead and you gain Invulnerability!
- it seems it's better to choose the health upgrade
- in catapult level, run to the very right side of the level, catapult doesn't shoot there. Just kill all the soldiers there and then return for the bowmen. Then again, return to the right side.
- i didn't use the bow except of the tower level
- guards with the shields: slash their feet if they walk, slash their heads if they kneel
so in fact i don't think the boss needs the health bar, he needs one clear slash to remove his head :) give it a try, it's just about the timing and good aiminig, i bet you'll get him before the 10th try
my advices:
- in strategy mode, spend the first turn by advancing only one hex, the next turn, just take over all the hexes in the way to the command tent, move your samurai there and click END TURN -> this is the final battle
- during the final battle, move close to the boss, then slash him. When he jumps, try to SLASH his neck in the mid-air - you have to predict where his neck will be when your samurai reaches this point. If you miss, repeat again and again. If you die, click END TURN and battle begins again
HOW TO KILL THE BOSS:
you just need to hit him once!
just normally slash him - he will always jump and THEN when you see he jumps, just slash in the mid-air approximately where his chest or neck is... TRY again and again, I managed to do it like 5th time... not that hard :) good luck!
