Good start...
Here's my advice to improve it... make different colored cells provide different benefits (speed, defense, etc). Make the menu button not delete your whole game! I was 3 minutes in and clicked that so I could turn the sound off... and had to start over.
Yes! sarcastic comments make this game more fun? that's a pretty low threshold for fun there...
I agree with most of the other commenters... what's new and unique about this ... just jumping around...
One thing that's the AI doesn't know... if you have multiple birds in the same family, and play one, the AI will only try to beat it by a little, allowing you to play your other family member. You can easily win because the AI doesn't usually have backup cards in the same family. The AI needs to consider "it's a trap."

i really like this theme, but there are a few major annoyances... one the zoom is too close and you can't control it, and two, everyone knows that if you fire the cannons off one side, the cannons on the other side are still loaded! come on... that totally ruins the realism when you can't do a double broadside.
Needs more balance... I got to the last level only buying the 10gold body and the machine gun... i now have 115 prestige saved up and i just played each level one time.
