The laggy 'sticky' movement makes this unplayable. It keeps preventing me accessing trees AND it keeps throwing me into enemies. Not to mention the issue with the game speed not altering any 'over time' effects. How has this gone so long without fixes? Bad Dev.
This. game. is. absolutely. awful. (Buggy/laggy inputs and a CHAIN of split-second jumps required? No. Just no. This is bad design & difficulty for the sake of difficulty.)
I wish devs would stop using bloody arrow keys for movement in Flash games. There is a known issue with 'sticky' keys and in games like this which require repeated precise movements, it's a damned nightmare.
Wow this game is a horribly unresponsive and laggy piece of junk. Not to mention the monotonously repetitive combat & huge disparity in difficulty between mooks and bosses. Don't know why anyone would've "stolen" it tbh.
BONUS INFO: Aiming for Hull focuses on HP damage. Aiming for Crew reduces enemy AP (take it below 15 & the ship is out of action w/o being destroyed). Aiming for Sails... I have no idea what it does & it frankly seems useless. + both these comments so others can see them?
USEFUL INFO: Hull (HP), Crew (AP), Sails (Ship Speed). The other stats are pretty obvious. Now, Sails may seem useless (& I think they are here) but they reduce the number of days taken to perform actions at sea. Also, ONLY USE THE RIGHT UPGRADE PATH; the ships are far superior, so you're only wasting coin & AP on the left side. Oh, & Cargo is the least important upgrade.
"You must have the Unity plugin installed to rate this game." If I want to rate a game badly because I can't run the blasted thing (effectively being non-functional) then I should damn well be allowed.
I could easily rack up massive combos if not for the fact that even on 'low' it will lag upon enemy spawning (& continue doing so for several seconds at least) in which time my bullets frequently have no effect whatsoever. Meaning enemies that should've been destroyed wind up damaging me. A game from 2009 should be bug-free by now.
Uhhh.. what just happened? I tried to walk into part of the level and everything went weird & the enemies vanished then my health nosedived at a ridiculous rate & the screen went black. Game-breaking bug right there. No-one caught this years ago?
Um, I definitely killed at least 20 enemies whilst in Superman mode, yet the game says I didn't kill even 1 of them? What the hell? (& obviously I now lack the Easy badge despite having the [allegedly] Hard badge??)
Scratch Nadodan's strategy. Mine, before it crashed, was to get an Uzi assistant and a Coin Collector assistant, use them to earn enough to buy more workers & equip them with machineguns, then max all relevant skills. Then the game glitched. Pity there's no saved progress.
Pretty sure I broke it. Maxed out machine-gunners. x1 maxed out coin collector. The box was forced up to the top-right corner and the screen is filled with bullet-trails. The band marches on. No coins, no income, just bullets and music.
Could 'Defend' do something OTHER than have units stand still and get hit a lot? At least let them move on the current platform or attack enemies in sight/range.
Okay. I've completed /numerous/ quests. Why the hell have I not gotten the blasted badge already? & if I report it missing, I bet it still won't count for Badge of the Day, so I'm gonna settle for demanding someone threaten to set the Dev on fire unless they optimise the game & also bugfix the endless load-screen post-quest issue.
