Not as "Epic" as the book (pardon the pun) but a good game idea overall. I would like to see the game more developed though. Maybe some levels, a bigger ocean, new scenery, etc. I also think it would be better to have fewer obstacles coming at you (because it gets ridiculous) and maybe make it harder to sink ships. If you got really creative with it, you could include a few book characters in the game...human ones...at least Ishmael and Ahab. Perhaps Ahab could be a boss throughout the game and Ishmael could be someone who helps the whale. Ok, that's asking a lot. lol
I love, Love, LOVE this game. The graphics are both good and funny. The only thing I've found myself wanting is a way to start a level over without backing completely out of the game.
I'm stuck on "Splishity Splashity." I've tried everything I can think of. I have 3 skill points and have assigned them in various ways. No matter what I do, the wave with a billion green baddies all clumped together defeats me.
After one of many losses, I started game again and had unlimited gold. I like gold and all, but this glitch sort of takes the sport out of the game. lol
This game would play much better had I not spilled sticky orange juice in my arrow keys two nights ago. Time to get the Q-tips and Windex out to clean the keyboard. sigh
The game isn't unplayable. I play it...and won. I see potential in this game if more were done to/with it. One thing I found myself wanting is a mini map so I could get an overview of my road system. I was disappointed to find there was only one level to the game. I was ready to play the next level.
Wow...this game is soooo well made. I love it. Sadly, I stink with keyboard controls. I might have a friend play it while I watch just so I can see the whole game.
I love Castle Wars and am very excited about Castle Wars 2...except, after playing the first tribe the game got ridiculous. The computer opponent immediately crushed me to my knees but won't just finish me off. It keeps discarding useful cards instead of playing them on me.
