Good, playable game that delivers on its premise... and eats up far more system resources than is probably necessary. I don't have the programming background necessary to identify what can be parsed down, but I suspect the tower and enemy models can be simplified. The game trades on gameplay and genre-merging; isometric 4- or 8-direction sprites are more than enough... The music is also nice but can similarly be cut down to a smaller format, maybe? It's still a 4-5 star game on its merits.
The animation's... unique, in the best way (and the art's good too). I can't really recall anything like it, that I've seen, and it's a really nice touch!
Suggestion: Set the "Armies" info field(s) in the War tab as a separate frame, so we don't have to keep scrolling between North and Armies.
An option to see how much x10 or x100 buildings cost would be helpful as well.
Also, pie chart infographs (see: Swarm Simulator's Territory graph) that explain how many buildings we've built in relation to each other, and how the workers are actually distributed to them. With just numerical values, it's like reading a spreadsheet and makes it harder to enjoy.
The general pace of the game is also very slow, especially towards the beginning. I would double or triple the production rates at the early end, as well as Knowledge. (The idea is to increase the interest level at the early end, to get players more invested for longer.)
The fine-tuning updates are a real nice touch. It's great to see a dev who takes the time to work everything out for the sake of a good experience - more so when they do it for free! You rock, dude, and I wish you the best!
The new content is impressive. It explores its own setting more, and takes it from being an amusing game to a fascinating one. However, the site views thing seems to be borked up (or maybe it's how Kong counts it), because the high scores are all identical.
