Felt some lag in the jump button. This is the sort of game I grew up playing, and the retro feel is a good one. (Did anyone else start thinking 'welp, time to fight Sigma' climbing that one area?)
Loved it. Felt like I was playing an ANGRY Rebuild 2, in the best possible way. A targeted, single and adjacent tile 'devolution' (plague? in the biblical sense) calamity would be interesting, and justify that one skill I never used much in any of the modes.
Actually quite pleasant after trying to get the 2007 Badge for far longer than necessary - it's like, yes, I actually can complete a game without microsecond-accurate timing. I don't see why this is the Badge of the Day, though? It's a younger kids' game on a site that by and large caters to an older age group.
Brilliant. #45 seems to be more luck than skill, though. Having the Par numbers really helps in trying to figure out what exactly we're supposed to be doing!
I've given up on capturing castles, and now just reduce them to rubble so as to let my dude hit enemies on the edge of the screen. This game has pacing and instruction problems - it needs a sequel.
An easy, casual game that's generous with assistance (the 'auto' upgrades REALLY cut down on player frustration) and ends before it feels like a chore. It took me about 3 hours to complete all the quests, and the varied play modes kept things from getting old.
I've worked jobs like this, so it's nice to see such understanding customers. The pace and controls become second nature after a couple of game days. Being able to cut to the menu while you aren't on the job would be nice, as that would make getting hat achievements easier.
Not bad. I like the 90s-style graphics and the general feel of the game. It's not too difficult to just finish the game - and the first three Achievement Badges can be gotten in an hour or so - but completing 35 missions on Expert is time-consuming and I'm not sure it's actually worth it.
