sigh never-mind, pressing the poorly labeled "open" button helped me find the skills
did I miss something about levels? HP or power in attacks have not gone up...
hard to know that I can not continue to move since there is a bad guy "somewhere", so I am constantly pressing next turn. when the level is clear who cares about movement points?
