First fight in arena and I have a choice between someone with 13.1 T power, 633 B power, or 20.4k power. Luckily I have 24.9 k power. But why do I even have the option to fight people in the billions and trillions as my very first arena fight?
my only gripe is space being the button to change the blocks. I kept pressing space to jump and dying because of this. Of course this is not really your fault, it is my fault for playing games where space is jump.
I got the first wheel of fortune correct... and then failed 6 in a row. Pretty bad luck. One round I had my board cleared twice and went bankrupt so I could only pick 1 letter and it wasn't even on the board. Had to guess with a completely blank board and like 7 words. Category rule. The answer wasn't even a rule and called itself out on it. Literally no way to have guessed it without having gotten it wrong prior. Just seems wild. Maybe I don't know enough about cats.
Hey there, thanks for the feedback! Wheel of Felines has been changed quite a lot, I just haven't been able to update it in this game yet, but there's a standalone version on Kong, which is quite different from the one in LotCG. I'll make sure to update it soon though!
idk how anyone could say the upgrades are underwhelming. I used the money song and then maxed out my money, then I maxed out javelin speed, then I bought the top sword, killed the first 2 bosses, bought the top armor and cleared the whole map. I only got a single hp upgrade on my first death and realized the blacksmith is the real goat. Getting javeline down to a 2 second cooldown when it does double damage is pretty nice.. Just run around spamming it at slimes until your sword can actually do damage. The only damage upgrades I got were after I got the sword so I could do 30 damage.
Spoiler?
This snuck up on me. This hit surprisingly hard on some core moral values. Especially when paying attention to current events and debates happening around me. On one hand, no one can fault you for doing what you originally set out to do. It is totally expected. There is an option to help, but why would you help if you don't get anything in return? It's like willingly losing your job when you are up for promotion because someone you met a few days ago got into trouble a days trip away and you have to go save them or they die. You have 0 obligation. You barely know them.. but you know them well enough to care. Well enough that maybe the decision weighs on your conscience. Who just throws their entire life away for someone they've known for a single week? Probably no one. How many people chose to do that in this game? Probably most people. Why? Because it's what we wish we could do. We wish we could save them.. but we can't justify our own sacrifice and so we sacrifice others.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! It's really touching to know the story had an impact on someone.
I just finished a remake of this on itch.io so I came back here to check the old page and I'm glad I did. Seeing this comment was a big motivation boost.
So.. I saw this and I was surprised that the rating was at 0. Then I realized that it had literally just been put up as it had almost no plays. Kudos to greg for putting it on the hot new games list so fast.
Final, I agree.. I wonder how the arrows coming at you don't hit him at all? The ones from behind, would have to go through him to hit you unless they like, curved around him.
