I also have to ask a couple of things. Firstly, why give me a side quest to kill certain I'm not going to see until so much later, and give me a really worthless reward I won't really need because I'd be too powerful afterward? Secondly, why does the shield accessory give vitality points rather than dexterity (which even then makes little sense but that's the closest thing to defense in this game). Shields give you a better chance to block, they don't usually give you more life. Finally, why am I going through some cave filled with really tough monsters to get a book to learn how to swim? I really can't just, I don't know, ASK someone to teach me? Same with the pushing manual, you need a book to tell you how to push a rock? And I guess the manual only tells you how to push it one single space then never again unless you reset the screen.
Pretty simple but not bad, kind of wish after the last level I got...well,anything. Even a "good job you wasted half an hour" would've been better than no congratulations at all.
Kind of a strange badge system on this game, given that I got the medium badge, then the hard badge, then the easy badge. Probably because for easy it has to be the harem, not 3 separate groupies. As for the game, it's pretty boring and not fun to play. My only trouble with the hard badge was just having enough height to pull anything off. That, and after just one upgrade it feels like stuff costs way too much way too soon.
It's an alright game, but so far there's just a lack of good plot, humor, or combat. It kind of feels like it's aspiring to be like Mardek or Zelda, but it's just a little too bland and tedious. Not bad, but not incredible either.
I was owning up survival mode, got 201 kills and just dropped dead. Did I reach the cap of survival mode so the game went "Ok that's enough for you"? Maybe my character just had a heart attack.
"people who draw the shapes out to solve them, and filthy guide-using cheaters. Only one group is awesome. Which will you be?" Can I be in both? I did some of them by myself...
Outside of that, I hate games where it's luck, or even just when the mechanics of the game make it luck based. I can't say I'm the most skilled person, but when I can't beat a game because I don't have the skill I accept that. When it's based on luck I can't take that. When I finally do beat it I don't feel special, I just got lucky and managed to get there, it wasn't fun. Whoever thoughts of pits needs to just...seriously think about what they've done in life.
Miles, you have played the challenges right? Story mode is perfectly easy, sometimes too easy, but the challenge mode, a lot of them are absolutely ridiculous. And I've figured the major issue for a lot of them (especially challenge 13 and 15) is the fact that you have so little health, literally every single attack card except one will kill you in one go. The only way you could have possibly done good for challenge 15 is starting with a lucky hand and the AI deciding to be an idiot. This game is great, the challenges are not.
It's a fun game, but there's just too much irritation for it to be fun. Enemy and hazard placement can be absolutely ridiculous with no way to dodge. Like on episode one, running with the boss, there's spikes directly in front of me, and jumping made me hit the boss. Even if I didn't the spikes would've killed me off. Spawning is a little frustrating as well if you spawn in a bad place. And your starter stuff costs more than it should. It's a good game, but not amazing.
Wow, got the medium badge entirely by luck and accident, I didn't even understand what it wanted me to do. I'm quite impressed with myself that's a pretty epic accident.
I can't even play this game, the moment I click the plane my browser crashes. It doesn't even go backwards it goes forward an inch and crashes. That's 2 quests now I can't do because my dinosaur computer can't handle just one of the games.
I seriously doubt that for $100,000+ all I get is a dinky motorboat. If said motorboat was piled full of babes, I'd probably find that more believable.
Yeah this was pretty boring, more tedious than challenging. The part I find funny is the in game achievements. I got all 3 badges and not one single achievement. Probably because the completion number for them is outrageous. 5k kills are you serious? I don't think so.
Finally managed to beat it, still have no clue what the story means. And as a final note, it really is an irritation your character walks so slow. At least in The Last Door after you go to an area they give you a skip to next room option, here you just deal with it.
